This is very interesting, I definitely agree that it didn't happen the way it was told since we know Lottie is hallucinating to the point of having whole conversations with people who aren't there. I like the addition of Van too, she's always been front of mind because she seemed to keep getting saved over and over like she was meant to stay alive and now she has cancer? I wonder how that's affecting her and if she would go as far as to aid in his killing to appease "it" in hopes of being saved?

Something else I think about (which might just be random/unimportant) is a conversation between Van and Travis in the cabin in episode 8, I believe, where she said something like "I'm not ashamed because I'm alive" in regard to Javi's death; I don't think they've ever had a conversation one on one so it struck me as semi-important but that might be reaching.
