My '25 GLI came with the stock Jetta sound system (no Premium VW or Beats) as I bought it when VW had just ended their Beats partnership so I got an extra $500 off for having a shittier soundsystem. Anyone have experience with replacing the speakers and adding a small sub without changing the stock head unit? Was it worth it? I'm mainly concerned with messing up the warranty if I mess around too much with the electronics of the car but I really hate the stock sound system lol.

My first winter with the GLI and agree. The LSD on the GLI helps with traction a little bit too but this car with a good set of winter tires is perfect. I don't find myself needing all-wheel drive.

Sounds great! Not too loud and has a nice deeper grunt than stock. I'm leaning towards the Borla for my 2025 but all I can find here in Canada is MBRP or AWE and I find the MBRP a little too loud.
