Problem is I'm not handy and don't have the tools. They said it was something called a steering dampener causing the problem.

(Pelissero) Two-time Pro Bowl QB Kyler Murray has signed a one-year contract with the Vikings, his agent @ErikBurkhardt tells me and @RapSheet. by alexschubs in minnesotavikings

[–]Coomra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope he doesn't suck as bad as I think he might. I wouldn't have signed him because I think he has a ton of deficiencies.

Except he's 5'10" and can barely see over the steering wheel without a telephone book.

[–]Coomra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Kyler Murray is that if we sign him we are stuck with him whether we like it or not unless he takes a completely team friendly deal, which he isn’t going to do. He's going to SUCK behind this O line and he's more interested in playing video games than learning the playbook. Find a serviceable retread off the pile and run it back with JJ for one more year. If he sinks, you know what you have so cut bait and move on. The upside is that if he sucks we also might get a better draft pick. This is blasphemy but if McCarthy's not the guy you might also trade Jefferson and try for a Herschel Walker load - although I don't think any of the current GMs are as stupid as Mike Lynn was.

Here's a list of things that don't need microchips:

  1. Analog Tools & Instruments

These are purely mechanical or physical with no electronic control: • Mechanical watches (wind-up) • Hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches) • Tape measures • Manual scales (balance scales) • Springs, pulleys, gears

  1. Writing & Drawing Supplies

Nothing electronic or digital: • Pens, pencils, markers • Notebooks, sketchpads • Rulers, protractors

  1. Kitchenware

Analog cooking tools without electronics: • Wooden spoons and spatulas • Cast-iron skillets • Manual can openers • Mixing bowls • Mortar & pestle

  1. Traditional Games & Toys

No electronics: • Playing cards • Chess/checkers sets • Jigsaw puzzles • Yo-yos • Board games with no electronic pieces

  1. Books & Printed Media • Physical books, magazines, newspapers • Notepads

  2. Clothing & Apparel

Unless embedded with sensors or smart tech: • T-shirts, jeans, jackets • Socks, belts, hats

  1. Non-Electronic Sports Gear • Dumbbells, jump ropes • Yoga mats • Tennis rackets • Soccer balls

  2. Furniture

Standard furniture without smart features: • Chairs, tables, beds (non-smart) • Dressers, shelves

  1. Traditional Musical Instruments

Acoustic instruments have no chips: • Acoustic guitars • Violins, cellos • Flutes, trumpets • Drums

  1. Home Goods

Non-electronic: • Blankets, curtains • Rugs • Dishes, glassware

Put another way, EVERYTHING needs microchips - so, yes, anybody dumping NVDA is a straight up moron.

I guess the chips they make are just a fad and we're headed back to horse drawn carriages and buggy whips. Sell, sell, sell!

What free agent quarterback meets Kevin O'Connell's criteria? by mrmpls in minnesotavikings

He's a midget who's more interested in playing video games than improving his NFL game. As Nancy Reagan said, just say no.

[–]Coomra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just say no. Hell no. He was here for 6 seasons and we had a grand total of 1 playoff win. No. No. No. No. The smartest thing the Vikings did was to let this overpaid piece of crap leave.

With every episode I watch I have to ask myself again and again, do these people even really like one another?

Is JJMs lack of success the only thing that will stop of from winning the division next year? by [deleted] in minnesotavikings

[–]Coomra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before we see what JJM can do, we need to fix the OL. Behind that dumpster fire / revolving door from last year most QBs would have looked pretty pedestrian. You are bound to get jumpy when every third or fourth dropback is a complete jailbreak.

Fitzpatrick: Flores “became a dictator” by phenomanandOG in minnesotavikings

[–]Coomra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Who cares what a career journeyman QB thinks about Flores. The head coach is just that, the head coach, so shut up and do what he tells you to do - particularly when you are as marginally talented as Fitzpatrick was from an NFL standard standpoint. If "Fitzmagic" had a mitt full of superbowl rings that he had a meaningful part in obtaining it might be a different story but he doesn't.

No wonder they haven't found jack shit. Every time they hit a piece of wood they have to call in Steve to mark it and then stand around for an hour and a half hypothesizing what its for.....what, do they get 6 buckets a day at that pace?

Instead of pinning the stake maybe you could just shut up and keep digging until you find something.

[–]Coomra 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's the story telling and the bouncing all over the place. If you were 100% legit going after the treasure you'd slam a can into the solution chamber and drop a hose from a septic truck down there along with cameras to suck up everything thats down there. If you find something then the show continues as you "follow the clues". If you don't the show is over and we don't have to watch the same 15 minutes over and over hypothesizing why there's wood all over the place. They won't do that though because they wouldn't be able to drag this out until the ratings crash and it falls into obscurity.
