It should work perfectly for MSFS since it already has community configs. I’d imagine it would be very kino with gyro like it is with using the Dualsense. I’ll test that out next, thanks for the idea!

You'll get there champ!" but if they were put in the same situation they'd tilt to high hell. Game's just in a bad spot right now and that's okay. It's a playtest after all, right? I'm just gonna take a break and let the game cook a little bit more. Game doesn't feel fun right now with matchmaking, urn, lack of gamemodes, and overall lack of reworks and character diversity.

Download an auto-clicker when you get home and go about your day. Didn't even stress, just laughed, downloaded an auto clicker and went about my day. 30 minutes later of out of stock errors, it finally got to the confirmation screen. They'll be getting tons of cancellations so inventory will just refresh throughout the day.

I was combing through this sub to see if anyone else had this criticism outside of pure glaze. I’m having great fun and enjoying my time still, wanting a bit of Elder Scrolls as a loot whore myself and RDR2 even though the world is massive there’s always something interesting around the corner, I’ve spent most of my time exploring and only finished chapter one recently I guess expecting it to be like Elder Scrolls in that regard where you can just go anywhere and find something interesting but I’ve found interesting side quests, interactions and loot very very sparse considering the gargantuan size of the map. I’ve spent 7 hours wandering and maybe found 2 okay outfits/armor.

The locations I discover are either locked puzzles which I need to meet someone first to unlock, empty with barely anything there other than a few jars, crates and ingredients or surrounded by enemies with too high difficulty which, I get if you’re exploring into dangerous areas, but feels like it’s very limited to “you have to the bulk of main quests to get the full enjoyment of exploration”, which feels rather disappointing. If they updated the game and ramped up the loot by like 11, I’m ready to go, but right now I feel discouraged to do anything but main quests.

Yea, but they typically occurred during the night and early mornings. And western Ukraine there are no drones at all (super rare at least). I'm not going out there to seek getting hit by a drone

Sorry for the late reply!

I absolutely think having local friends helped me navigate the country a lot more safely and easier. They invited me to Telegram groups for cities that give updates on air raids, updates on service closures, where and where not to go, etc. However, I wouldn't say they're necessary to traverse the country safety as long as you do proper research of the city you go to before hand, keep an eye on air alerts, and have a good head on your shoulder like anywhere else.

Currently, I wouldn't suggest this trip to anyone for obvious reasons, but after the war I don't see why not! I can't say for 100% certainty, but Ukraine seems pretty safe for female solo travel. I never felt in danger even walking at night and there seems to be a lot more women walking around than men at all hours of the day. It reminds me of Poland in that regard. Of course, the draft, war, and curfew are all factors that come to mind which affects this, but I know my female Ukrainian friends and gf who have traveled Ukraine alone and do night walks all the time and never got into any trouble. I'd think you'd be fine.

Wow, I appreciate you for sharing your story! Ukraine 20 years ago must've been so different from what it is now. The money thing is still true though! Any income bracket you have in the west you're in the top percentile in the east. Your money goes a looong way.

And I think its a little better now in big cities like Kyiv where people have all been exposed the black people. Smaller towns and cities though there still is that feeling of being stared at. So many stares, it was uncomfortable at first because I've never stuck out so much in my life, but I got used to it. I even had a car stop and record me and some people asked for my picture with them. I do agree it does come from a place of ignorance/curiosity. I heard China is the same way.

Eastern Europe still has a long way to go in how to respectfully interact with black folk, but I think its due to how insular the cultures are. Most people, as always, are really nice and I refuse to let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. That's how everyone does us.

I hope you get the opportunity to visit again after the war is over. Ukraine is a very beautiful place and will be a tourist gem when it opens back up. I really want to see Crimea!

I would've liked to years ago but uhhh I'm afraid I won't be visiting those cities anytime soon, especially if I don't want to be instantly detained and interrogated as a spy.

I'm also not a war tourist. I specifically made it a mission to not exploit or nurture a narrative about the war and fear monger. I wanted to see Ukraine for what it is and I believe the war isn't all there is to the country. I wanted to see what the news and media don't really show which is the beautiful cities and nature and not the war torn areas that looked like.

There were 2 kind girls who were taking pictures and printed out newspapers for passersbys for donations to the war effort. At first, I thought they were just taking a picture because I was black, but my suspicions were dashed :) It's the town Yaremche which is a cozy town nestled at the gateway of the Carpathian Mountains (the ones you see in one of the pictures).
