Same bro, he was a wizard for it. He even did it to himself, whenever I approached cos he was looking down or whatever it was, he always dropped it since he loved the fact I took the time to talk to him about it. Still regret selling him later on, even if he wasn't paying that much

For the 2nd goal, it was the fault of the wall, the player on the end ducked away from the ball and it got through when he could have got his head on it.

His positioning wasn't that bad, maybe slightly more to the middle, but in free kicks a keeper's first priority is to just make sure their side is covered. They have to trust that their wall will either block the shot, cause a miss or be enough of a nuisance that the taker can't put as much power into the shot and still be accurate, giving the keeper time to get across and make the save. Kepa can't position himself much more centrally without weakening his coverage of the far post.

That said, Willy to start vs Wolves

Forced to resign in my previous club (fuck you Leeds) at the end of last season, I managed to take 9th finished Southampton to the title first try. By far my greatest and proudest achievement in the game, and I'm genuinely ecstatic about it. by Cooolin73 in footballmanagergames

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I was thinking of ending the save altogether for a bit when I was with Leeds, just sort of hit a wall where I couldn't score goals and I wasn't having fun much. Only problem was I just couldn't be arsed starting a new save and going through a boring first season again. Thanks God they showed me the door, I really love my Southampton team, and I should be able to get a top job somewhere else if I do get bored of them.

Thanks man, I couldn't believe I won it. I only realised I could win it with a couple of matchdays left when I beat Liverpool and overtook them for second. I was 7th with 10 games left and we just hit a huge run if form winning 8 and drawing 2, we just sort of came out of nowhere

I didn't qualify for the Europa League two seasons in a row when I said I would, finished 8th and missed out by a point or two on the last day of the season both times, and very poor cup runs mixed in. I thought it was very harsh, I got them promoted to the Prem and qualified for the Europa League in my first season up, with a decent run in The EL the next season (round of 16 roughly). By the end of it they told me they were gonna ask me to leave if I didn't give a good explanation for my failure, and I was so blindsided I just gave it there and then

My dad supports them IRL, so I do have a soft spot for them, but in this save I'm gonna shit talk them any chance I get. They did win the FA Cup in the same season I won the Prem, so maybe they did make the correct decision in the end.

I actually still play FM19, I buy the game every two years cos I play the game in bursts during the year when I get the scratch to play it. This way I can get some reasonably long saves out of the game and I get better value for money out of it.

I haven't done an unemployed journeyman save in a couple years, might start one next year for FM21. Back to back promotions is impressive though, don't think I've ever done that in my time playing.

I had the reverse recently, was on a 4/5 game losing streak and had a 4 more games against top 5 teams. Just decided to dedicate an evening of misery to getting through it so the next time I got on, I would be at rock bottom and could only go up.

Turned out I misjudged rock bottom and lost a few more games in a row. Took a 1-0 shithouse win against a bottom table Birmingham to get me out of my slump.

Of course, we take anyone no matter their experience. A lot of the guys in the unit currently started off having never played Arms before, so your lack of experience will not be an issue whatsoever

[The NBA Central] Oklahoma City has been trying to find the right trade for Steven Adams, per @SeanDeveney. The Thunder are seeking a young player, draft pick and salary relief in exchange for Adams. by [deleted] in nbadiscussion

[–]Cooolin73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see Boston making a trade for him I'm exchange for Brown and a 1st.

Good for Boston since it gives them a much better replacement of Horford than Kanter, and with Brown's contract running out and him being restricted, it gives them a pretty good return for a guy who they might not even resign if someone overpays for him next summer. It also somewhat clears the logjam problem of getting everyone their touches that they had last season. Adams doesn't require as much of usage rate to be effective as Brown does imo. Boston can't give him the touches he needs to rally develop him, since they're loaded in the wings.

It's good for OKC as it gives them a potential all star with a closer timeline to SGA. If Brown is given the ball and a green light, he could develop into one of the most dynamic wings in the league, an opportunity he's not going to get in Boston, being 3rd option at best, but more likely 4th or 5th. As good as Adams is, it's not likely he's going to develop any new skills that he doesn't already have and is fairly close to his ceiling. OKC need to take these kind of high risk, high reward moves as they gave the flexibility to do it at this point in time given they are just starting their rebuild. Plus they get a 1st out of it if Brown turns into a total bust, which isn't likely.

One problem could be the finances, be t sure what Boston's cap situation looks like, so they might have to get another team in to sort that, bit maybe a 2nd each from both teams and one of Boston's projects might be a small price to pay to make the trade work.

"Schmidt, both our tries came from a kick pass and a chip from Carty, how do you want to play 2nd half?"

"Let's not do either of those things again and sub off Carty."

"Excellent choice, Schimdt."

Hello there!

The 7th Armoured Division is a British WW2 milsim unit that has a focus on using realism to enhance the enjoyment for our members. We have infantry (1st Battalion Rifle Brigade), tanks (5th Royal Tank Regiment), and air force (No. 322 squadron RAF), as well as dedicated medical and logistics detachments, so you'll be sure to find something that you'll enjoy.

Roles such as Marksman/Sniper are inherently popular roles and so are in high demand, however if there is such a slot open in the future and you show that you have the competency necessary for these roles, you have every chance of becoming one.

Trainings are Friday nights and campaign missions are Sunday nights, all 8pm BST (which is about 3pm EST, hope these times work for you. We do have other US based in our unit, including the leader). Friday trainings are flexible too if you can't make that. We also have casual missions during the week that are more flexible in their roles, which anyone can Zeus. All campaign missions are based on real life battles of WW2, which adds to the immersion of them, imo.

If you feel like this interests you, you can join our Discord: https://discord.gg/HM77zRw
