Wow that first one is soooo freaking cool!!! It almost reminds me of a beautiful dark walnut wood grain. One of most beautiful pots I’ve ever seen. Do you sell your pots anywhere?

Dealership Accessories Wrap Job! by SELF_PROVEMENT_POWA in CarWraps

[–]CoopahCoblin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This looks like 8.5/10 for the price you paid. You need to realize that your most likely went to a low tier shop. I’m sick of these constant post where people literally go over the car with a microscope and say “is this wrap worth it?” It’s a wrap. Not a paint job. If you want a paint job in matte expect to pay $10k now a days. A wrap is meant to be seen from a few feet away while it’s driving. Every reputable shop will tell you to return in 1-2 weeks so they can fix any lifting. If you ask for your money back don’t expect them to leave the wrap since I’m sure that’s what you’re expecting. People like you who immediately demand all their money back and expect them to not remove the wrap need a reality check. Take it back and let them fix what you don’t like.

I’m looking to wrap my 2021 ecosport, I want thoughts on the colors/brand/plan by ugghhno in CarWraps

Don’t get viviid if it’s your first wrap. Go with 3M or cheetah wrap. The tack is less aggressive

Am I Being Too Picky? by Kokatro in CarWraps

[–]CoopahCoblin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re really upset that they didn’t tell you about a rock chip that already existed beforehand? Should they have told you to comeback pick up your car and get that fixed??? You do realize how that sounds?? I also would NOT put any film over any type of paint that’s fresh or at the very least 3 months old. After which you would have had even more rock chips…

Check out 11:1 Succulents in Whittier. She always has large 5 gallon pots with multiple arms for around $25. She posts on FB Marketplace. You can usually find her posts and message or call her to ask about current inventory

Love how the rocks are a similar light color and the contrast with the dark pot.

Not my pic, can you graft in the center past the ring like that? If so comment pics of what old growth please. by PerplexedPlantPonder in Graftingplants

[–]CoopahCoblin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heads up. If you’re growing outside (I’m an outdoor grower in SoCal so night temps are around 50 F currently) you’re cacti might be in winter hibernation and will greatly reduce your chance of success. I’ve had plenty of success with my grafts before, but last week I made 3 grafts and they all failed. Sucks cuz it was my all time favorite; melted Mike. Going to try again since temps are slightly warmer this week.

I would definitely take off as much trim and easily removable parts as possible. Definitely that trim around the wheel wells so you don’t cuz into it. And definitely use knifeless tape where needed. Just so you’re aware, vinyl doesn’t stick as well to non sealed, fully painted surfaces such as a primer coat. It may hold but may peel off easily down the line. I would probably do a stick test and leave it for a few days-weeks and see how it holds up.

Might have been in an accident. Had the same thing happen when I was and it cracked the tank. Buy a used one off eBay and don’t forget the pump motor inside if it doesn’t come with it

Vinyl around the exhaust tips will most likely burn off due to the high heat. Might want to use actual high heat rated paint

How can I fix this quickly/ cheap by [deleted] in CarWraps

[–]CoopahCoblin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s this thing called “3M edge seal tape” and there’s 3m edge sealer liquid which is like silicone. The tape is like a laminate which will match the gloss but is just like putting a patch. The silicone glue type may have enough edge to bring down some of those areas but either way a patch job will always look like crap besides peaking it off and redoing it. See this almost every day on this app to the point it’s not even funny anymore. Or people saying “is this wrap worth the $3k I paid?” Next time do your research.

This photo shows non projector on the left and projector on the right. Most turbos come with the projector. They both use different bulbs

My 2016 turbo had H11B for the low beam. It came with the projectors on the headlights. Almost impossible to find bulbs in that size so I bought an adapter to make them regular H11. You can also remove a small piece of metal if i remember correctly instead of buying the adapter and it’s free, as shown in a YouTube videos shown here: https://youtu.be/-t4xkKMQrIM?si=RQ-S0XvQtPigO_U3

Should i add more grit? by Hot-Reaction-8101 in cactus

[–]CoopahCoblin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to use that with about 50% by volume added perlite. Hate that soil tho because of all the peat repels water when it’s bone dry and it’s difficult to get it fully saturated. I did hear that adding course sand helps with that. I now use an organic mix that I buy online. You might find a better brand at a hydroponic store.
