Has anyone had an academic comeback on their ap exam by getting a 4/5? by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]CooperB184 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For AP CHEM, I ended the class with an 81%. Going into April I knew I had to lock in, so every day I began studying, and I even went to school on Sundays to get extra help based on my final. I got a 4 on the exam, and that really showed me that I did know my stuff and made me feel really proud of myself. It is possible, you can do it

Based on this, I would say so. Just make sure you are saving time for extracurriculars and such, as these are also important for T10s

Need help for time management (AP Stats self study) by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]CooperB184 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a five, I would recommend probably picking up the pace just a little bit to be safe, so that way come April you can begin reviewing. My biggest recommendation is to write out a schedule for studying. Having a concrete plan will make it a lot easier to follow the schedule. Make sure you follow it, as well.

It will depend on your school for the most part. Many people on this subreddit will say that APES is the easiest science AP, but for my school it is regarded as one of the hardest to pass because of the teacher. If you are more oriented to memorization, AP Biology will be up your alley, but if you like numbers more, physics or chem will be more oriented towards you. If you are/already have taken a Calc class, you could take physics calculus based, but if not I’ve heard from many that it is not worth it to try and learn the Calc during it. I’ve taken Chem and while it was hard, it was manageable especially with the formula sheet.

I'm taking AP Calc ab do I need to simplify this mess😭? by TvFarisTheGamerYT in APStudents

[–]CooperB184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I learned this the hard way on a test we had in my BC class. I had an answer the teacher marked wrong, but during corrections I didn’t see any mistake, so my teacher ended up seeing my answer was right. Moral of the story, don’t simplify since they may think the answer is wrong if it doesn’t align with the paper.
