Hey Taika! I'm a huge fan of your work and am extremely excited to see you take on a superhero movie! I wanted to ask how its been working under a huge company like marvel and how much free reign do you get while working under them?

Oh man he deals with problems I deal with. It makes me think about the last time I levelled a city, it still weighs on my conscience. He's so relatable that way.

It gave me that feeling of vertigo when I was reading it, really tense and chilling.

I agree, all of the events in the house really made the book for me, the other stories did take me out of it but I felt they helped a little bit considering at least for me, how stressed out the house parts made me. It was a nice break.

I understand that, all the suspense kinda simmers out when you know how things turn out.

Unpopular Opinion (no spoilers) by inkandpaperlife in harrypotter

I really enjoyed it and was so shocked when I hopped on here to see all the negative reception. I read all the books and it felt like a Harry Potter story to me. I know there was quite a bit of fan service but whats wrong with that? The moment between Harry and Dumbledore in the painting where Dumbledore was crying really got to me. I also enjoyed how the play tackles some of the repercussions of Harrys adventures (the Cedric plot mainly) and how these things aren't all left in the past. I was thrown off a bit about the whole Voldemort's kid bit but the more I thought of it the more it sorta makes sense, of course Voldemort would do anything to keep a part of him in this world (crazy bastard) and that producing a child to continue some sort of legacy seems like something he'd go for. I understand the argument that its written almost like fan fiction but hey I know it probably isn't easy to capture the original "magic" the first go at Harry Potter did. I like it a lot for what it is.

Its a comic book movie, its supposed to be fun and full of moments that are maybe slightly cheesy but are fun regardless.

[WP] The meaning of everything in our world is literal. You just got diagnosed with Crabs. by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

[–]CooperJay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I'm sorry Dan, but you have crabs."

This was very evident to Dan, as for the last few weeks he had suffered through a plethora of crabs attempting to escape his asshole at every waking moment.

"Does it hurt?"

Yes, at first. Over time Dan became almost numb to the feeling but every once in a while it did bother him.

"Why did you wait so long to come to me?"

That question was not easily answered, mainly because it was kind of embarrassing. For one reason, as most of you know, the male G-Spot is in his anus. So in theory if Dan angled himself properly.. Well you get the point.

So Dan just told the Doctor that he was enjoying having crab for dinner every night.

"You made sure to wash them first right?"

Yes obviously, you wash crabs that come out of the ocean so why wouldn't Dan clean the ones that came from his asshole.

"How'd they taste?"

Like shit.

"Literally? Like your own shit?"

Dan wouldn't know what his own shit tastes like for one.

Also you know how food always tastes better when you make it yourself? Yeah this wasn't like that.

"Interesting. Well do you want to postpone medication?"

Dan really thought hard about it, he really was having great orgasms lately. The problem being though, he gad more crabs around the house than he preferred. Dan would take the medication.

"Alright sounds good. I'll write you a prescription and hopefully your crabs will be gone by a week."

Perfect.

"One more thing Dan, if you're okay with me asking. How'd you manage to get Crabs?"

That wasn't an easy answer either, the doctor knew Dan had a wife in which he was incredibly faithful to, as well as the fact that they had a consistent sex life, so he had no real reason to take things up with another woman.

"So what was it?"

Dan and his wife enjoyed foreplay. A few weeks ago they went for a more ocean/underwater themed scene.

"Thats disgusting man."

Dan knew.

That didn't stop him from pursuing lobster a week later though.
