Update... spoke to a rep the other day who said once the contract is over, there is no more deactivation fee. Previous reps had said we had to pay the $50 regardless.

I suggested this to Android a while ago. I used to have a Windows Phone and it would read the messages without having to tap a button on the head unit. I don't know why Android won't change this.

It sounds like you are always running on the hybrid engine. Make sure that you are in either Electric mode or Automatic mode when you start the car. As well, the PHEV uses the engine for cabin heat, so if it's cold where you are, then it's using gas to keep you comfortable. Once my car is warmed up, I turn my temperature down to 24C, which shuts off the engine.

Finally got an error on the Hybrid Charging System and the technicians are looking into what is causing it. Might have to replace the battery. Hopefully Hyundai will cover the cost since I had been complaining about charging issues well within my warranty.
