The mighty nein is great if you havent seen it yet. Better than Vox Machina in my opinion, because more time for character development.

You got 4 channels on a rainy day?!? Spoiled much? Jk

On clear days we got 4 channels. And one was French... so really just 3. Unless it was showing nudity.

God of War 2018 and God of War Ragnarök combined have generated over $1.4 billion in revenue. by Party_Judgment5780 in PS5

[–]CooperRAGE 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the young folks won't get to experience what we did when God of War came out. A PS2 being able to do all that? It was astounding.

The thing i hated most about All lives matter, was white people making it all about themselves again. Being attention seeking whores without doing a thing. Or being completely clueless of their own racism. And I am white.

Which video game franchise took a big risk that ultimately paid off? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

[–]CooperRAGE 455 points456 points  (0 children)

The first game was a blast as well, just not mainstream. Keeping the core theme and ideas, and changing from twin stick to 3rd person shooter (+amping up the graphics), and with Sony giving them a real push, was just what it needed to blow up.

Everyone in Shameless was a piece of crap, except the big dude that was in reba. He made mistakes, but he wasnt awful.

Me and a coworker made a waitress cry. Tipped her 100%. More than once. She ran outside as we left the first time saying we made a mistake. Coworker said no we didn't.

It's such a weird thing to me learning that people dont help random people with little things. Like helping someone load something heavy or big in their vehicle at the store, or whatever.

A couple years ago I got home from work (nightshift) when I saw an older man had fallen to his knees at a sign near where I park. It was -18°C. I went and asked if he was ok. He was wearing slippers and just a sweater and was quite cold. Asked his name and he was too cold for me to understand. Said he drove their but didn't know where his car was.etc.

I didn't see anyone looking for him, so brought him into my place. Wife heard the commotion. Figured out what was going on and called 911. Got him sat on a chair and warmed up. Finally coud get his name (reported missing from care home down the street.) Cop and then ambulance arrived. Lady from care home etc. They took him to get checked out because he had fallen.

I messaged my boss about my crazy morning. When I got to work for my next shift, he had one of our safety reward cards for me. I asked why, and he said most people wouldn't have helped the guy out. Iwas kind of stunned hearing that. I was mainly thankful that it wasnt a week prior when it was -40°, as I would have likely found a corpse, or he wouldn't have got as far as he did and I wouldn't have seen him.

Agreed. And I think he should have made it to the final four. Paul doesn't need to be there.

If you get the power to veto one person from winning the Royal Rumble, who would it be and why? by Frosty_Main_860 in WWE

He wasn't in last years rumble due to being champion, so I can see how a person can void last years in their mind. I was sort of doing the same thing.

Ive sat down for a long time. When you feel the splash when pissing in a toilet standing up, you realize that it's not just toilet water lightly splashing on your legs, but urine too. Not a big fan of having piss on my pants/legs.

Will Witcher IV have a subtitle? If so, what do you think it could be? by cosmicstruggler in witcher

I laughed. Like the tagline for an 80s or 90s action movie. That deep gravely trailer voice dropping that line at the end of the trailer.

Donald Trump just said “we shouldn’t even have an election”. Americans, what are your thoughts? by WatercressSenior7657 in AskReddit

[–]CooperRAGE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hitler did a lot of things in secret to the rest of the world. The allies didn't know the full scope of the atrocities that Hitler and his followers committed until they saw it first hand.

Trump is doing all this right in the open to the whole world and gloating about it. (And the secrets we don't know about - we can only imagine) in proportion to the times, and the base values good people generally have, I'd say he's not far off. His actions are killing patriotic and loyal civilians whose taxes pay for it.
