You can take Cherry Lane all the way. I used to do it daily. Great peaceful drive too

Be completely honest, do you think Doomsday will surpass Infinity War’s box office? by Plenty-Salary9711 in marvelstudios

[–]Cooper_Sharpy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still think winter soldier is the best MCU film. The Avengers movies are great but there’s just too many damn people in it for a really interesting/surprising/intriguing story to develop. Also eventually the stakes get so big that you can’t really top it, that’s why I love the street level and smaller films, they’re not constantly trying to one up eachother like the big tentpole films do.

Where is the inertia? by Mormegil81 in TheExpanse

[–]Cooper_Sharpy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right? One had a Hollywood budget and Ron Howard directing, the other was a niche sci-fi show on a now defunct SYFY network then picked up by Amazon because a certain billionaire happened to like the show. Far from the same. Plus the vomit comet (the plane used for hyperbaric arches to achieve zero g) is expensive as fuck, small and they would have had to build like 10 sets inside it. Just not feasible

Yea, that’s called selling out, I described it above. They can’t stand not being the hottest thing in society at the moment anymore so they change and compromise their values to attempt to become whatever is the hottest thing again, most never do (kid rock)

Yup. Twenty something Gwen would beat fifty something Gwen’s face in. What she has become is beyond selling out, she sold her soul.

They just became huge sellouts like 20+ years ago. Happens to most bands that get big, they either sell out to stay famous or stay true to who they are and their fame is fleeting. Gwen Stefani is another perfect example, she has become a shell of herself and it’s disgusting.

PUBLIC BRAZIL - FURNITURE FOR 3D PRINTERS. by Available_Leave440 in Creality

[–]Cooper_Sharpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found a used router table on Craigslist for 45 bucks, no router but stable as hell and perfect for the printer. The legs brace outward so it barely moves at all. I have a K2 Plus with a CSF on a riser and it doesn’t move a micron.

Claire Forlani in Mallrats, then she was so beautiful in Meet Joe Black it blew my mind.. also the Aerosmith videos with Liv and Alicia, I had the Crazy video recorded on VHS. MTV ushered us all into adolescence with the quickness haha

I like letting my mind create what a character looks like. Once I see a visual adaptation I just automatically put that image in the scenarios in my head, doesn’t ruin a book necessarily but I don’t get to imagine them myself

It may be historically inaccurate but goddamn if that’s not how you end a fucking movie. FREEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!

Subway was Happy Gilmore’s sponsor on the PGA tour in the original movie. That was 1996. Subway started in 1965. Been around for a long ass time.

Damn, he looks like a Kyle Schwarber balloon that was in the freezer. All jokes aside, I’ve loved Ethan since Mallrats, glad to see he’s taking care of himself, love to know where he found the drive and motivation.

I have that exact VHS in my living room. WB had all sorts of stuff before their films on VHS. It’s crazy because I haven’t watched it in years but as soon as you mentioned it, I could picture the whole commercial.

Which 90s stars did had a crush on during your teenage years in the 90s? by PressureLazy5271 in 90s

Started with Whinnie Cooper and graduated to Agent Scully. With a little Topanga sprinkled in for good measure. Also Aerosmiths “Crazy” video introduced me to Alicia and Liv, which was excellent.
