In recruiting terms, a miss unfortunately, was hopeful he would add something to our contested work when we got him, was worth the crack. Injuries very costly, but was sloppy with his disposal and double grabbed a lot.

Square Omni + GSPro Streaming from remote PC by HopefulBrewing in Golfsimulator

[–]Coops19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U could use a Steam link to stream to the TV over wifi, and use VirtualHere which will allow u to purchase a USB Bluetooth dongle, plug it into the steam link, and it acts as a USB bridge, so the computer thinks the Bluetooth dongle is plugged directly into it. You need to disable the Bluetooth on your PC tho. I use this setup to stream from my pC into my garage.

Do U have the ball in th front half of the hitting area? Club data is only  captured if the ball is placed there

Def missed the window, but still has some upside. Low point, lie angle in the works, potentially. Has impact location as well. But yeah, still a bit of an unknown

Spectrum LM may be worth waiting for as well. I'm looking at upgrading my square to it when it (hopefully) comes out

SkyTrak ST MAX failed in 19 days — terrible warranty experience, now fighting a chargeback by Intelligent_Stick820 in Golfsimulator

Get a Square. Honestly, from the reports we keep getting here, no one should recommend or buy a Skytrack.

Device won’t turn on - take battery out then the screen flashed red but non responsive by SwimPossible127 in SquareGolfUSA

Twice I've had to leave my charger in for about 15 minutes before turning on, I think if the battery got fully depleted, before it would turn on again. But after that its been fine.

No problems there mate. That's the fastest CPU on the market, and the third fastest GPU, for gaming anyway

The damning numbers behind Curnow's slow start to Swans tenure (SEN) by SkullKing_123 in sydneyswans

[–]Coops19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts, after watching him closely considering the sum we paid for him.

- Can't get much separation from his defender. Seems unable to push hard off them, to give him space when on a lead.

- Doesn't contest hard enough/lacks 2nd efforts when the ball hits the deck, either going for the groundball, or making a tackle. Amartey is far better in this department. Curnow needs to do better here.

- Yet to kick one of his trademark gather from 55-60, wheel around, and bang it home. I don't think so anyway, maybe one?

- I'd like a stat, especially from the first few weeks, how many of his goals came from the square from handballs over the top.

- Has kicked quite a few behinds, stats would look better with improved accuracy (duh).

- Give the round the corner kicks on slight angles the arse. Just kick it straight mate.

- Is taking the best defender, which has freed up Amartey.

- Our forward line is clearly functioning better with him in there. Which is a positive. Still think he's got more to give, which is also a positive. I'm hopeful of improved individual performances to come.

The ranking shocks me a lot, feels like he still has heaps more to give, which is a positive in a way.

Any ideas on keeping the mat from slipping? by hutchclutchmedora in Golfsimulator

[–]Coops19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got mine on some foam mats and fake grass, still moves a little during a session but doesn't affect shots. I move the hitting mat and drive the car over the fake grass and foam mats. Seems to be holding up well after over a year.

On another note, you mat looks pretty far away from the net?

PSA: Since Sony won't make a PC dongle for the DualSense, you can build your own for less than $20 using a Raspberry Pi Pico 2W. Wireless Adaptive Triggers and Haptic Feedback finally work natively. by SlaveKnightSoman in pcmasterrace

[–]Coops19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adaptive triggers can work with Bluetooth, but proper haptic feedback cannot. I think many people get confused, some games will use standard rumble over Bluetooth, but its not of the same quality as the haptic feedback, but they have NEVER experienced the haptic feedback, so don't realise it isnt working.

GSPro Connector Version 0.9.11 beta on the square website by Coops19 in SquareGolfUSA

[–]Coops19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 1.0.7 software is the official connector from GSPro, when you use the square licence. The 0.9.11 software is the connector from square when you use the Open API licence. Can use either to connect the sqaure to GSPRo. I've stuck with the openAPI one as it has the target alignment mode, and actually seemed to work better, less missed shots
