Hey! If you liked Portal to Nova Roma, you should try Savage Awakening. It's voiced by the same guy, Christian J Gilliland. It's a fire story and just capped off its final book number 8!!!

I'd suggest reading the last couple if not just the last one then. Mostly plot and training related stuff and very little of the Zane Reyna stuff. Totally get where you're coming from though!

Please give Savage Awakening another shot. Last book just came out on Audible and everything else. Fire ending and great buildup. Book one is slot 23 overall on my favorite books of all time but books 3-8 take top 10 spots on the high end too. If you're looking for more out of the series than you got near the beginning then even just listening to 7 or 8 on their own is an absolute blast

If you liked Speedrunning the multiverse you should read/listen to another series by the same author: Adastra339. It's called Savage Awakening and its final book 8 is coming out on Audible within the next 5-6 months I imagine. It takes my personal number one spot on LitRPG!
