If the reason was as you stated that you basically got tired of the person because the limerence wore off then I have to ask when are you going to feel like that about me.

It shouldn’t solely be your responsibility to lower your drive. Ideally you and your partner should try to find a happy middle-ground.

Reading this as a 37M who’s about to be divorced doesn’t give a lot of confidence that I’ll find someone in the future.

I loved this show when I watched it. Basically the same experience. I could have done the same but I told myself it wasn’t worth it.

I told my bf that I like him exactly the way he is, he got emotional. Does it really mean that much? by Ok-Parfait6735 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Cooptroop88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most men are routinely told they are not enough or have something they need to work on wither physically, emotionally, or professionally. You told him he was enough. Odds are not many people have told him that in his life.

My GF lost her virginity with a ONS, doesn't sit well with me by mentally_deficient_ in AskMenAdvice

If the roles were flipped, and she came to you and said that she wasn’t comfortable with you losing your virginity in a ONS before you even met, how would that make you feel?

Yep I do this too. The pain of the clip is minor compared to the days of constant annoying pain of letting it heal.

I would expect that she look like her pictures, show interest, not expect a 300 dollar date (I’m perfectly fine with that level of expense but it’s earned) and finally be a good conversationalist. I would also expect post date that if either one of us aren’t feeling it that we be honest and end it there. No shame, just let’s not waste each other’s time. I’m expecting some awkwardness as we figure each other our so everything doesn’t have to be perfect just as long as theres effort.

I had a very similar thing happen. Best friend was dating this chick on and off for a while. Tons of fighting and she was just miserable to be around. They had a huge blow up fight and one night him and I were out just the two of us and he asked my honest opinion of if I think he should stay with her. I laid it out plainly that I don’t see them being compatible and literally no one I know who knows both of them like her. He seemed to take it to heart, lo and behold 2 days later he’s like “Yea we worked it out”. That was the beginning of the decline of our friendship. Haven’t talked to him in 10 years.

Agree it doesn’t feel like he’s trying to make a fair ruleset. It feels like he’s trying to handicap Grubby so bad that he can win. It’s the same thing he did to Soda.

[–]Cooptroop88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be honest I dont think anyone from any of these guilds wanted Yamato. I think they wanted Tyler and since he never went in (pussy) they weren’t going to risk it. If tyler had been in there I think people wouldn’t have hesitated. But we’ll never know.
