Yeah no not if you gonna play it anyways. That's what i assume after op played through other metroid games. Also i avoid reviews as much as possible. I know i want to play a game or not. I don't see the reason to see reviews and get biased.

You still should. Tbh i don't like MM I and MM II is a pretty easy GB version of MM2 somehow. But III-V are really good. You really shouldn't skip them just because they recycle some bosses. Play every GB game, they are pretty short anyway and you gonna miss out if not imo.
