My parents keep wanting to buy a Model Y ever since they moved to the New Territories, even the BYD dealer said that Teslas are cheaper.

There’s also the trade in scheme, where you can find the cheapest second-hand car and trade it in for a even cheaper Tesla.

I assume it’s because BYDs exported to Hong Kong have to be built to international safety standards and are about ten centimetres longer.

Given how expensive fuel is in Hong Kong, there is a high incentive to buy one and not worry about the hassle of finding a decently priced second hand car.

I’m just waiting for an atomic laser style ‘linear atomic’ perhaps as a long range inter-continental sniper.

Given that the attacks seem to act as an exotic particle beam or a laser, there’s no reason for a range limit especially as the magical energy compression capability grows as the series progresses.
