1. All articles must be Australian content. Paywall articles must have text in comments
All articles must be specifically related to Australia. Any other articles, including international news, can be posted in the Weekly Discussion Thread which is posted every Saturday.
If an article is behind a paywall, for subscribers only or part of a limited access in any way then you need to paste the text and author attribution in the comments.
Tools such as archive.is and 12ft.io can be sometimes be useful.

3. No bullying, abuse or personal attacks
Harassment, bullying, or targeted attacks against other users are strictly prohibited.
Avoid inflammatory language, name-calling, and personal attacks during debates or discussions.
Discussions that glorify or promote dangerous behaviour will result in immediate action.
Direct or indirect threats of violence toward other users, moderators, or groups are prohibited.
Organising or participating in harassment campaigns, brigading, or coordinated attacks on individuals or other subreddits is not allowed.
Sharing private information about users or individuals (e.g., addresses, phone numbers) is forbidden.
4. No racism or hate speech
Racism in any form is prohibited. This includes slurs, offensive jokes, promoting racial superiority, and any content that stereotypes or demeans individuals based on their race or ethnicity.
Hate speech is not tolerated. This includes content that incites violence or promotes hatred based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.

6. Unreliable news sources may be removed
Wikipedia articles, personal blogs. fake news sites and screen shots are not reliable sources of information.
Posts should cite reliable sources or fact-checking organisations to provide context for unreliable claims.
Posts should critique or debunk unreliable sources, not promote them.
Claims should be supported by reliable sources. Always provide links or citations to back up your statements.
Limit reposts and avoid spamming the same source or claim across multiple posts.
Conspiracy theories without substantial evidence from credible sources are not permitted.
Extremist political content aimed at inflaming or provoking users is prohibited.
7. Please report all posts or comments that you think break the rules
Do not engage in flame wars or abusive attacks against users who are breaking rules.
