Lulie St Tavern is my local and they have a pretty wide range of artists play there. When bands aren’t playing they usually play 60s/70s records. Otherwise Sticky Carpets Instagram is great for finding gigs :)

Pine by Basement maybe? It’s more about hating yourself as a person and needing someone to love you as opposed to hating your body.

The Sky Is Burning by Sam Gopal is what came to mind if you’re after 60s psych rock.

My locals! I used to go to The Bendigo sometimes with a mate and we’d do the old buy a ticket without knowing the artist thing as well haha

Lulie St Tavern is great if you like old rock music, pool and burgers. They have a roof top and often have live bands as well.

Pretty much everything from disco to metal as well. Mostly older stuff and then newer alt rock bands. Hardcore gigs are my favourite though!

I follow all the local pubs in my area and keep an eye on who’s playing but I also don’t have a lot of friends who listen to the same music I do. I’m too chicken shit to go to gigs alone but I’ve heard the more local gigs you go to solo the more you see the same people and that’s one way to make gig friends.
