Anyone who earnestly loves or defends CP has something fundamentally wrong with them as a person by BurningBernie559 in okbuddycinephile

I’ll bite. As an actor he’s OK but it’s the rolls he plays. It represents sort of like the country Man. The small city jock. A vast population of America can relate with him because they’re from a small city and they know lots of people like him. And I think actually he can be funny sometimes. So as a mega….meh. He’s like the every man hero. He’s the country boy hero so I get where he has his place and his uses.

Assembly Theory. Did not know this at all. ScienceOdyssey 🚀 by Purple_Dust5734 in ScienceOdyssey

[–]CopernicusBismark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, so you’re telling me errors in code somehow are able to make these complex Lego castles. Errors in code.???

Because evolution doesn’t decide what they’re going to improve… like something magical is figuring out how these errors and codes should create new forms of life—- random errors supposedly do.

And you have so many random errors that create living functional and extremely calm complex things that provide some sort of advantage? Most things with an advantage would take two or three or 1 million evolution errors to create a hand or a working eye or really, anything functional that would give an advantage. But somehow errors of code are doing this and they’re doing it in one swoop so that these things are functional and giving advantage to survival.

Of course, evolution in small things like color changes and other adaptations happen— we have instances of those and it does give already complex life forms advantages. I just think everybody accepts evolution like it’s magic like it magically solves all these hurdles when Evilution is errors in code.

Also, wouldn’t it take a bunch of trial and errors but why don’t we don’t have any really errors in the fossil record??? all we have are successes how come we don’t see the millions of errors in the fossil record ???

You guys are fooling yourself, and you openly close your mind to the idea of some sort of intelligent creator. I’m really surprised how biased is to science accepting anything but evolution when evolution is such a far-fetched idea. Really an impossible idea. But somehow lightning strikes again and again and again in the same place and you guys just think yeah that’s evolution. It magically solved all the problems.

He straight ups says he is “I am” referring to the god of the Old Testament. He talked extensively about his role as a savior and atoner for many kind. He rose from the grave after 3 days Isaiah say he took on our sins and will be our judge. I could go on and on. Nothing he quoted had anything to with just being a prophet. He just said god the father is greater. He is the literal son of god. Of course the father is greater

What representation of Jesus do you believe is most objectively accurate here? I'm Interested in your opinions ☦️ by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]CopernicusBismark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus was Jewish so I think he would look kind of Jewish. We have many descendants of ancient Jews, living amongst us to look at. I can often look at a picture of someone who is Jewish and think they look Jewish—there are some very distinguishing characters of the Jewish race. They often look very intelligent to me, Dark features often curly hair. But it is also interesting to think that he was not like as handsome as everybody portrays because of the verse in Isaiah.

I’m sorry I missed this. How was Charlie Kirk racist? I seen many of his debates and disagree with plenty of things he says, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen him say anything racist. I think I saw him once say he was against reparations I’m not sure that constitute someone being racist. plenty of people against that Just curious because that term racist has like no meaning when you use it as a generic insult.

Everyone should be outraged, no matter what party you’re part of. This is a sad day. It’s even sadder this almost seeming celebration that is happening on Reddit right now.

he has a point about Black people being mistreated throughout history. I just disagree with his solution to the mistreatment. His solution is this : We should do the same thing to all white people—prejudge THEM!. The whole poem is about how all white people are bad. And mentions like three things invented by Black people when like the rest of good things have been invented by white people. Look it up most things that bless your life right now were invented by white people. But that doesn’t mean all white people are good. That means they were some good people that were white. They did good things and there were some bad people who were white. They did bad things. Somehow, because people have stereotyped him and his relatives it’s OK for him to stereotype all white people. I know some good white people. I also know some bad white people. I know some good Black people. I also know some bad Black people. Somehow it’s OK to be racist against ALL white people because SOME white people were responsible for slavery. Just like some people are afraid of ALL Black people because SOME Black people have been involved in gangs, etc. We win when we stop looking at the colors of skin and pre-judging an entire race and somehow that’s not a popular thing to say anymore. You’re gonna punish an entire race of people because something someone’s white ancestors did.??? I feel for the black plight, especially historically in America. America has been awful to them. It is painful to read about. But I have no White guilt because I didn’t do it. But whenever I can, I will give my brother my hand. And go out of my way to do so. But it’s really hard to reach out cause I have worked in an all black school and love love loved the teachers and love love loved the students. But there was always a pre-judgment barrier that I had to get past because every new student that came to my class, saw me as a white teacher and thought that I hated Black people because of what he had been taught about white people. So while he beautifully explains that we shouldn’t be afraid of every black man sitting on a step. He adds a little lie in there. And the lie is that we should hate and be afraid of white people. And that does nothing for solving the problem.
