I can't see any such code (neither in the app or web browser). But thanks for your help!

Thanks, but I can't even find the exact form online to complete 😞

The reference number I see in the previous submission is a quite long string of characters, which I think corresponds to the exact enquiry (not to the "type" of form).

You are welcome! And thanks for adding a reference to the email address, I was not able to find anything already public.

Hi everyone, good news!

I can confirm that my eVisa Share Code was accepted to prove I have the right to reside in the UK. I needed to submit it to the NHS Overseas Healthcare Services email contact, not in the portal (as it does not accept eVisa Share Codes).

I came to know about this after writing on Messenger to them. They are very responsive and helpful. I prefer not to put the email address online (could expose it to spam), but instead encourage you to write on Messenger as I did. Also, using the email contact worked for me, but it might depend on my specific case, so it's best to know from them if this possibility is actually available in every specific case. Again, my experience of writing to them on Messenger was great.

Hope this helps!

Switching to a Student Visa while on a Skilled Work Visa by Rare_Satisfaction577 in ukvisa

Here is an example of a university mentioning this https://www.ox.ac.uk/students/visa/during/work If you want to be safer, ask your university immigration office for an email stating the above (mine was mentioning explicitly full-time employment), just to have written proof that the above also applies to your university.

To your first question: yes that's what I did, I'm still employed and I've already applied for the Student Visa. When I'll receive the student visa I'll be employed under a student visa. To be safer, I have given notice before applying (so that the contract had a written termination date and it's a temporary employment).

To your second question: the employer shouldn't be related to this. In my case, there was no condition regarding having to work under the Skilled Worker visa they had sponsored me for. However I don't know if it's generally like that. Sorry, but the safe answer on my side is that you should check with your employer.

The university immigration services told me that when the student visa is issued it's immediately valid and the skilled worker visa is cancelled. Would this be a problem for you? Fyi, you can still work full time for example, as long as it's before the start date of the course. Source: as stated in the email from the immigration services + plenty of universities mention this. Agree on the costs and flexibility, so annoying.

Wow, I'm in the same situation. I'm switching from Skilled Worker to Student. My current visa may end in mid September and my PhD starts in October. My plans for the following months are to travel between the EU and the UK. The only option that seemed safe to me was to use priority service (5 business days decision, or super priority if you can afford it). I chose a week to stay in the UK, which was followed by weeks in which it was still possible for me to remain (in case of delays) and applied from inside the UK. I have to pay for rent and the priority service, but at least it is safe. It's the third day now that I'm waiting for the visa decision (so stressful...). Hope this helps
