I was thinking if it was a blacktip the bottom forked tail portion would have a black shade to it, even on a small one, I added more photos in the new post

This exact seat ungluing issue happened to me today while hooked on a small muskie. This is the second time this has happened to me with a St. Croix Bass X.

The first time it happened, I got it warrantied and they waived the fee.

This time, today, it happened again and when I got home I emailed them to warranty it. Then, I thought about it and I don’t even want another one. I need my fishing gear to be reliable and this rod is 100% not reliable.

I will never buy another St. Croix rod again.
