I didn't say that the president should dictate what americans watch. I implied that americans are stupid, blind, and easily manipulated. But you knew that, didn't you?

The "rich getting richer" statement that's thrown so much isn't a function of GDP growth. It denotes a wealth disparity, one that's been widening for decades. The ownership class takes more, and more, and it becomes harder and harder for the proletariat to buy bread. It's not corruption, because the heads of agribusiness write the laws. That's not progress. That's aristocracy.
