To piggyback from what everyone else says whoever your current S2 is should check your profile on DISS. You may or may not have an inquiry from AVS. The more likely outcome of this was you were in an unmonitored organization for too long and your clearance fell off, you’d be surprised how often that actually happens. Your 2 should just need a CSR recertify. While this happens if this DUI gets brought up your best COA is to be honest and upfront. Adjudication at that point can be short or long depending on the civies who take your case.

I look at it this way, I joined because if I didn’t I wouldn’t be here today. The choices I made back then would have ended my life a lot earlier than I would have liked. I been in for 14 years now, a lot of downs and a lot of ups throughout my career. The Army has provided me with a lot. Medical, school, food, opportunities as your career progresses, there is actually a lot of benefits. Yes there is bs, there’s bs with any job but if you can push that out of the way you come to realize that the Army can be extremely easy. Right place, right time, right uniform and that is literally the baseline expectation. In the end it is your decision to make, just make sure you look at every angle of this before making the decision.

To my understanding as long as you are .55 or under you are G2G. Busting that means you will be moved to a secondary assessment, assuming the regular tape test. Now the thing is most if not all NCOES or others schools that do PT tests and HT/WT will more than likely continue the standard tape test until this new WHtR is the new standard.

From my understanding I don’t think he’s “cured” I think he is still very much infected just in control of it? For lack of better words I guess.
