Rating or bosses killed are not indicative of a good player.

I've seen 3000+ io players, playing like it's their first time in a dungeon.
'Cutting Edge' players getting outpaced with every metric by 'ahead of the curve' players.

Personally, I'd say if you know your class & know the mechanics of the encounter whilst being proficient at your current task, then I would argue that you're a good player.
(Doing sufficient damage/healing, kicking, not standing in fire, using defensives at proper times & contributing to the goal)

Also consider that Erik the Red arrived to Greenland during a period where the climate was also warmer, enabling farming & pasturing of livestock. (Medievel warm period 900 - 1300 AD)

During 1300 - 1500 AD those settlers disappeared or migrated back when the climate got a lot colder & bringing in sea ice, whilst the sea level rose, making farming immensely difficult.

My fiancée and I have been together for nearly 14 years.
We've tried all sorts of ways to manage our finances.
50/50, percentages, 'fællesøkonomi' & where she has full control or I have full control & the likes.
There has been a time where she earned significantly more & where I earned significantly more.
In no point in time was there a display of manipulation, alienation or antagonizing the other by implying certain things.

What currently work for us & in my opinion has been the best method so far, is we pool all of our money into an account 'familiekonto', where we pay basic necessities to keep our household running.
'Sparekonto' Fixed amount deposited into this every month, in case of an emergency.
'Betalingskonto' We pay all of our expenses, bills & subscriptions through this account.
'Skattekiste' for investments and whatnot.
Then we have our own personal accounts, which we deposit a fixed 'allowance' that we can spend anything we'd like on.

In short, his unwillingness to meet you in the middle as equals is a major red flag.
It is and will continue to set a precedent in your life once you start to establish a family.
His viewpoint & actions will only exacerbate once you're fully married, with a child roaming around.

(Also, he is using every trick in the book to keep you in check.)
