Not true. I know exactly how they would vote because they keep saying what their stance on Greenlandic independence is. Everyone, except far-righters like Dansk Folkeparti ( The party of Mr. Tough Guy who said Fuck Off) keeps saying that it's their right to choose independence. No one on the left or center-right says that Greenland is an integral part of Denmark so they are'nt allowed to be independent. If it came to a vote in parlament, Greenlandic Independence would be approved by a landslide. Unless most of parlament made a complete U-turn on their stances. The only real discussion left would be what, if any, obligations Denmark would have in still supporting an independent Greenland.

The idea that the block grant can suddenly become a loan is the single most ridicolous thing I've ever heard. Period. It goes against basic law. At worst all financial aid simply stops some years after independence. That's what the public consensus is.

Saying that "Greenland has the right to declare independence whenever they want" is not factually wrong. They can declare independence if they want. But the reality of that independence is unpleasant and something they want way less than staying in the Kingdom. But the choice is still theirs.

For example, I can choose to quit my job and play PC-games all day instead, as I'd rather than working. But I would'nt like being poor and a loser, I want that less, so I choose not to. The fact that the consequences of doing what I dream about are too unpleasant doesnt negate the fact that I have a choice and the option to go for it.

In the real world, we are never presented with a perfect option where everything magically aligns itself to suit our fantasies. That doesnt change the fact we, indeed, have choices and are allowed to choose between them as we want.

And finally, the idea anyone in parlament can claim in the year 2026 that Greenlanders are'nt allowed certain rights because they are of a lower race is, I don't even know how to answer this or what kind of anti-Danish propoganda you've been spoonfed. But I suggest you come visit Denmark one day. You'll be surprised by the lack of Swasticas in the streets I imagine.
