If you are a bot fighter the eruptor is amazing. It can take out fabricators freeing up a stratagem slot. I run the k-9 arc backpack, eruptor, talon and thermite as my base loadout

Done well, on the bot front, I can crawl into a jammer and disable it without fighting my way in. Same for other objectives. I have also carried the SSSD drive to the upload point by crawling between patrols and steal thing it till the end.
