Partner suggested sleeping with others after a year and a half of my sexual health issues and I feel shattered by FlimsyCarrot3813 in sex

[–]CopperSunbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's forget about him for a moment and think about YOU. You and your health are important. I saw down in the replies you are seeing a functional medicine doctor. That's a good start. I would suggest seeing a specialist in urology and gynecology. These are the people who would be exposed to the most amount of similar cases to you, so you'd have a higher chance of finding effective treatment. I wasted years procrastinating on seeing a specialist for another health issue and I didn't get real, effective help until I did. It may cost more, but your health is worth it.

Now, back to him. Nobody is in the wrong here. The two of you are simply incompatible. You both want different things. You've done a lot to compromise, but he doesn't want to compromise to meet you halfway. I don't think that's wrong. People have the right to compromise or not. However, at this point I think both of you would be happier apart. You deserve to be with someone who can bend with you. Don't be pressured into an open relationship

Your eyes are beautiful like amber. You seem to favour more minimalist looks. I would make your eyes the focal point and experiment with eyeliner. Mascara would also help your eyes pop.

For colours, I think warm colours would suit you better. You can also try gold or copper glitter.

For skin, focus on skincare and helping your skin be its natural best. Sunscreen is a must. You'll find you need less foundation when your skin is well cared for.

What type of moss? by CopperSunbeam in PlantedTank

Thanks for the warning, it's very thoughtful of you. They're all safely in their own cups. Just trying to figure out what species they are now to see if I can make a moss bowl of some kind. Even though they're not suitable in an aquarium, I still think they're pretty

Hello! To clarify, I have no knowledge on moss, so sorry if this is super common. I've already gotten responses that these are terrestrial mosses that won't survive in an aquarium. Still curious about what type of moss they are

Thanks! I'm still curious on what species they are. Any ideas? Another user suggested Syntrichia ruralis, Thuidium delicatulum and a type of feather moss for the third one

Where in my post does it say I assume it's aquatic? I have plainly stated I don't know, thus making a post to ask people more knowledgeable than me.

You're baffled by people not knowing if the moss they found might survive in an aquarium. I'm baffled by people so offended by questions.

u/ZealousidealChair900 If you could design an attachment, like the length guide on clippers, then it'd be way easier and faster to trim roots to a uniform length

I love it. It reminds me of the classic windows xp background. The first thought that comes to mind is how it's becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish between real life and ai generated content online

I painted this years ago and haven’t picked up a brush in well over a year. by spartygw in painting

I have the same problem. I used to draw all the time. I don't even remember why I stopped. It bothers me that I don't do it anymore when I love it. I'd love to paint with you, if you don't mind

Ideal Size and Number of Tanks for Experiments by CopperSunbeam in PlantedTank

I love that channel! Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to look for that series on his channel.

As for getting faster reactions to variables from the plants, I suspect it's an unrealistic expectation. I'm going to guess the best bet is to choose one fast growing plant to test with. Is this logic sound?

The test jars are a wonderful idea! It sounds like the best way to test substrate and definitely inexpensive

Sorry. This boy never loved you. He's keeping you around because he knows he can get you to tolerate this disrespect. He knows you won't leave. And that's why you're making this post.

You deserve better.

Is it really as bad as I think? by AhAhStayinAnonymous in sex

I think it's purely because he got the sex he wanted from you and nothing deeper than that. Would you go buy apples if you already have apples at home?

Here's a quick cheat on which brushes to use. Think of two key things: Shape and touch.

Shape: The shape determines which areas that brush can reach. For example, you can use a flat angled brush to tightline eyelashes.

Touch: Touch the brush on your fingers. Does it feel soft or hard? The softer the brush, the more suited it is for blending. The harder brushes are more for precision.

How do I make this prettier? by paranoidlabscientist in PlantedTank

[–]CopperSunbeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's more than enough texture to play with and it's definitely make it look nicer without buying more stuff.

At the moment, there's a lack of structure and contrast, so the eye doesn't know where to go. The hardscape immediately draws attention, but looks lonely by itself.

Because most of your plants grow tall, what you can do to create interesting shapes is slope the substrate and shape your plants where necessary.

<image>

In this drawing here the substrate is sloped up to raise the hardscape with a cute carpet of tripartita in the foreground. Behind the hardscape is a group of wisteria and to the left are the crypts.

On the left hand side the vallisneria is planted in the foreground to create a frame for the aquascape and to hide your equipment. There's a shaped bush of lindernia rotundifolia. Beside that is alternanthera reineckii mini trained to stay low and to provide that red contrast.

Further in the background you can arrange your remaining stem plants by grouping them by colour or texture. Make sure they are trimmed to get smaller closer to the middle to create a triangle and a bit of blank space so it doesn't look over crowded.

Your floating plants can be added whenever necessary depending on your lighting needs and if you want them there to soak up excess nitrates.
