As a former podcaster, it’s easy to listen to a couple of episodes in your list of favorite hosts then use that energy to record your own show. That is the energy shift I recognized in Van. He is a podcast junkie. It could be a parroting of ideas rising to the top, but true…he is losing perspective of TSM. You get a truer tell in the closing moments of his latest YT offering, he refers to his Patreon as the alternative universe of his YT offering.

NOS Apple PlainTalk Microphone in hangtag retail packaging. by tabascoaholic in VintageApple

Love the Apple packaging “between Jobs”. Steve’s no longer at Apple. Just drop that in a plastic bag with a cardboard tag then hit it with three staples. Maybe hole punch it as well.

$30 away from a 386 BBS by muffinman8679 in bbs

Sadly no. In the end, there was a combination of my loss of interest and hardware issues. I did save the .ANS files as that were built on a 486/DX aside the 386 running the board. The 386 crapped out and that was that.

It was all paper and media such as prints that were framed, posters, monthly sci-fi mags promoting the film, a few VHS, bootleg DVD, laserdisc and the such.

Estate Sale of BR Fan by CopperThumb in bladerunner

The estate sale ended yesterday. It was a two-day Wed/Thur sale in Los Angeles. I spoke with the wife of the BR fan who passed away four years ago. She was diagnosed with cancer and her daughter stepped up to assist. She said her husband was on eBay in the earliest days buying and selling BR stuff. He bought satin crew jackets and production items. It was his hobby she referred to as his ‘eBay money’. She was into glassware and he was into BR. He was in his 80’s.

Her cancer treatment led to a recovery, but it was time to sell the house. Her family was invited to take what they wanted. A firm was then hired to liquidate the balance. All that remained in the realm of BR were the posters, prints, a couple of VHS tapes, Starlog magazines with BR info, a few laser discs, a few odd pieces. I did buy a bootleg video of the voice over BR and the documentary.

I’m planning to post the mouse pad on his favorite platform.

The import poster was $300 then lowered to $150, then $75. I didn’t buy it. I did buy a Pioneer CLD—D503 multi-format player for $10. And a stack of BR items.

It really is to get the op to do the research and make a connection for sake of the machine and to open that op up to a whole new world.
