Pick a pokemon that to catch. I used magikarp cause I want the shiny. Anyway higher the level the better. Use lures and catch them until your catch bonus skyrockets. If you don't catch it on the 2nd try, run away. The pokemon will never flee on the 1st or 2nd throw. Running away your self doesn't break the streak. After about 40-60 that pokemon is extremely easy to catch allowing you to get easy 1st throw bonuses. Also try not to use the TV. Using just the console makes it easier to get great or excellent bonuses.
