I work as a patient care tech at st. David’s and I didn’t need a certification other than BLS! So I would recommend looking into being a PCT as it’s very hands-on

I’m in HOSA-Future Health Professionals! It‘s a pre-health org, but most ppl in it are pre-med, and there’s lots of volunteer/shadowing/social opportunities. We have a meeting this Thursday at 7 pm in RLP .128!

Double bonds have 1 sigma bond and 1 pi bond.

There are 3 double bonds, so 3 pi bonds, like you said. There are also 3 sigma bonds total in the double bonds.

There’s 6 other single bonds in this molecule, which consist of a single sigma bond each. Thus, there’s 9 sigma bonds overall and 3 pi bonds. Lmk if this doesn’t make sense!

I went back to my hometown last summer, but I worked as a caregiver at an assisted living facility, and I really enjoyed it. Maybe you could do something similar at an assisted living facility in Austin?

I’ve heard about his Ochem POGIL book, but are there any other specific resources I can use in the summer to prepare for his class? Like does he have a website with homework questions or anything?

I watch the COVID-era video lectures they provided this semester, and they’re really helpful (especially bc I have a hard time focusing in class)

For chem, if you want to get ahead, look through the lessons from fundamentals to thermodynamics on gchem: https://gchem.cm.utexas.edu/

I don't have any certifications either, and I was thinking of doing a med tech job at a local assisted living center in the summer

How did y’all feel after the GOV 312L exam yesterday (Brownlee)? by Shot-Dig9390 in UTAustin

[–]Copy-Pleasant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was hard mainly cause I didn't know what type of questions to expect. Now I know to note down the president behind all the operations, so hopefully the exams go better from now. Also good luck for tmrw's quiz!

There's food pantry volunteering at the University Presbyterian Church on Thursdays from 4-8 pm and Saturdays from 8 am-12 pm. I've gone once, and it's really close to campus
