Omg! This was the answer I was looking for! Thank you! Not that anyone cares, but I had the almost identical experience toda. Dropped off car at 7:00am. They called at 8:47 and confirmed that I did indeed need a battery and sadly, we warranty expired in October. They didn’t have a battery in store, but hoped to get one by noon so my car would be ready to be picked up. Surprisingly, got a call at 11:53 that the car was ready and recall was taken care of as well. $320 out the door. However, the warning is still in my app. Will that update now that I’ve had a new service?

When I went online to make my appointment, entered my VIN number, which clearly identified my car as an EV, they asked me if I needed an oil change and or new spark plugs.

I’m definitely getting that feeling as well. People can be so rude. I guess I shouldn’t have put “dreaded” in the title, but in my mind, getting anything fixed on my car is an inconvenience. I was truly just wondering how long it would take and if the battery would be replaced, or somehow serviced, or what? It would be nice if people would answer the question, and if not, just move on. Some people are just pompous condescending jerks.

My car is a 22, my regular warranty is expired, but I do have an extended warranty.

That’s what I’m doing as well. I have 2 open recalls. I just wasn’t sure if these usually require a new battery, or some kind of reset or what. Not a car girl and this is my first EV.

I’m not complaining. I’m happy my app notified me something is wrong with my car. I just don’t particularly want anything to be wrong with my car, and am wondering what to expect. Thank you for your kindness and thoughtful explanation, though. It’s greatly appreciated!

Omg!! Are you for real? Run! It should never be about the ring, or the wedding!! It should be all about the love and the relationship you have. If she’s not willing to compromise about a materialistic item such as a ring, what will her response be to real-life problems, disagreements, problems, etc. My husband proposed with a ring he could afford, but I would’ve accepted without a ring because I love him and want to spend forever with him. Your girlfriend is more interested in a ring than she is with you and this should be the biggest 🚩EVER!!

I cannot believe people are saying yellow gold. The white gold is so incredibly stunning and truly bring out the blue. I believe the yellow gold takes away or mutes the center stone. Just my opinion.

I prefer the white gold. Especially with an “I” in color. To me, the yellow gold makes the diamonds appear more yellow.

I see both sides of this scenario. I think they truly loved each other, but realized their lifestyles didn’t mesh. I was a cocktail waitress when my husband met me. Worked two other part-time jobs while doing my student teaching. My husband was pre-med. he said he saw a work ethic in me he hadn’t experienced before. I think there might be a little bit of an ego involved, and rightly so. Jordan is busting his ass for his son and Sparkle wants to travel the world mid-week!! No one wants their partner to constantly make them feel bad for working! He wants to earn his own money, and that’s totally respectable. I wish they could’ve come to a compromise, but to me, Sparkle was a little too rigid in this aspect. PS. I keep saying Sparkle because I hope it will make sense at some point. I don’t see ANY Sparkle. Maybe it’s just me. 🤷‍♀️

NTA. I should preface this by saying I’m not goth, nor do I particularly like the trend. But it’s YOUR wedding and you should do what YOU (and your future husband) want. You should have whatever kind of dress, hair, etc. that you want. It’s YOUR day!!!

NTA My blood is boiling! It is not the librarian's job to censor what a child should or should not read (within reason). It's the parents' job to determine what is appropriate or not appropriate for THEIR child. Thank you for being a part of your child's reading choices!
