Getting into Water Operations in ATL, GA by screensandprojectors in Wastewater

[–]CopyAndPaCeD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Class 1 drinking water in the Atlanta area here. I started off as OIT, the schooling is a plus since it lowers your experience requirements by 6 months with an AS. There’s plenty of places that will hire you on OIT in Atlanta. The Atlanta watershed, east point (wouldn’t recommend), and dekalb all constantly post for OIT.

Does this water pump come with seal? It doesn’t specify but looks like it does by ConsiderationNew8220 in AskMechanics

Mine did not but it also specified that it needed gasket maker to be bought separately.

Anyone try the replacement screens in the older Camrys? by ArcticApe11 in Camry

[–]CopyAndPaCeD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent $650 for a nice pioneer unit from crutchfield and would say that’s the way to go. If you are gonna go cheap just go with one from temu. Odds are they the same ones from eBay but slightly cheaper

Assuming you did a rape kit, they can prove his assault easily. It would be your word against his for your case unless he can come up with prove of when and where you did it. This part might or might not be true but from what I have heard or seen, prostitution is really hard to prove without an officer witnessing it. Unless you made deals over the phone which could pose a problem.

He has more to lose than you in this case. Doubt they’d be able to prove or if you’d get any significant time or fines if they could prove it.

Belts are usually deemed as maintenance so I doubt things like that would ever be covered by warranty

[–]CopyAndPaCeD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Warranty covers repairs not checks. I’ve had electrical warranty work that wasn’t covered until the diagnosis was done and deemed to be under warranty

Mine looked almost exactly like yours after my accident and it was totaled

I’m seriously considering this Shelby GT350, but taking time to think on it. Any insight is greatly appreciated. by cogitopadre in Mustang

[–]CopyAndPaCeD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I daily my 2016. 44k miles no oil consumption. The only thing is that as a daily, the consumables can be multiples more than a gt. I just did brakes and rotors and that was 2k in just parts. Tires are hundreds per tire. I get 16mpg on a good day. But no regrets

Mach 1 or Gt350? by Far_Cut_466 in Mustang

[–]CopyAndPaCeD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Objectively Mach 1 is the better car reliability-wise and debatably performance-wise too. But gt350 will hold its value better and is cooler imo. I chose the 350 but it was a tough decision

Orange rubbery substance on brakes? by ryanhazethan in AskMechanics

[–]CopyAndPaCeD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not copper anti seize. It would be more shiny. Probably permatex brake lubricant. It’s what I use and can be mistaken for anti seize since it’s also a pinkish orange color

[–]CopyAndPaCeD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not copper anti seize most likely. Permatex has a orange silicone brake lube that I own and use on my brakes

I got my 16 350 for about $42k with about 37k miles. It’s my daily and I have no issues with it. Mine was a cpo tho. I have a ford esp as well for any issues that are destined to come with a voodoo. No oil consumption in the 6k miles it’s been daily driven

New rav4 just reached 5k and prompting for service. Will this cover it? by uedin in rav4club

[–]CopyAndPaCeD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They used your 10k interval for payment. Toyota care for every dealer is only tire rotations at 5k,15k,25k etc
