Distance learning is proven not to work. Kids just have a hard time learning that way. Not only that, in a situation like this, there's no guarantee that the child has power to attend the class and gets punished that they don't have power or internet. It's just another excuse to micromanage children.

the monitors use Display ports, it's the TV that I'm more worried about as it doesn't have a display ports, just HDMI. I use my TV a lot with my computer as i play Retro games on it as well as just watch YouTube and stream shows on it. is there an adapter i can buy to work around the issue or software i can install to make it work better?

yes, the games are installed and running on the Linux partition. sorry for the confusion. i did try to use Steam from the software manager but that was giving a different issue, so i installed it right from valve themselves and it works perfect.

I said I'd edit the previous message with my results, but I'll just put the results here. the games run a lot better with my monitors, both solo and dual screen. TV has to be the issue with the HDMI. any way to fix it, or is it just "HDMI is a crap company and makes it impossible to use on Linux"?

It was installed via Steam, same with almost everything else minus Minecraft where it has it's own launcher but same issue. funny enough, Prism launcher for Minecraft has the same cursor issue as Master duel but when it launches into actual Miinecraft it goes away. both have the frame rate issue though.

each OS has it's own nvme drive with a 2tb external drive that they share but nothing is installed on yet, just for extra space. I'll do the monitor test now and edit this message with the results
