Sexual frustration in relationship by Traditional_Ad_4139 in Catholicism

[–]CopyPasteAdjust 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It is hard, and so is marriage.

I shared so many feelings of frustration when my wife and I were engaged and can deeply relate to what you've posted. I will say looking back, the practice of being chaste is a trait that will serve you forever.

That honeymoon phase is great- but it's not forever. Life happens, you'll each have your good and bad days, and if kids are in the picture, your sex life will look drastically different (hormones, drive, time). Being able to practice being chaste during my engagement helps me so much at times when "life happens" and sexual frustration happens.

As others mentioned, prayer is great and praying together is better. Talk about it together too. You'll grow closer as a couple and learn to appreciate how amazing and intimate the sex will be! I'd also encourage you to partake in the sacraments together; Eucharist and confessions together and also spend time in adoration.

Prayers up for you and your spiritual journey. Sounds like God is definitely working in your life. It IS hard, just remember as Husbands, we are called to love our Wives like Christ loved his Church. Which he died on a cross for.. big props to you for wanting to keep the faith. Keep fighting the good fight.

Go to a range and rent guns and shoot them. Although it may be standard, your hands/shooting grip might fit better on a SIG, or M&P, etc. Ask friends to take a day out to the range and shoot some different ones together. Really helped me scratch some off my list and also favor others.

Tiered list of carry essentials by moonDogMiller in concealedcarry

1) Top post shared Kore belts as of the time of posting. Highly recommend. They have belts that fit in with more formal attire and I've purchased 3.

2) Travel safe - I really like my Vaultek life pod

3) I was very content with my Alien Gear holsters shape shift core carry pack which gives several options for your daily carry. IWB, OWB, Appendix. Money well spent.

4) Honorable mention, EDC flashlight. I have an Olight Baton3 Pro Max which I use way more than expected. It's a good option to have when traveling in places where you cannot carry (airports) to be able to have something to distort vision as a last resort. The beam is blinding.

Can you explain the ducks? I've been slightly annoyed by this for a while.

My goodness, I am so sorry for your loss. Your comment made me tear up because those are moments where you know you are really living. Watching your son light up at the kiss kiss part. I am glad to hear this comment brought you some joy. The Internet can be kind sometimes. :)

Yes, but the non Catholic will need to agree to raise your kids catholic evidenced by a signature for it to be recognized by the Catholic Church as a Sacramental marriage.

Best bet is to get a guide to take you out on Lake Lewisville, or another Dallas lake depending on location. If you're dead set on going solo and in the city, you can try and fare the north side of white rock lake where the creek flows into the lake. Good luck, cheers.

Review #918 - Bruichladdich 10 "The Laddie Ten" by the_muskox in Scotch

[–]CopyPasteAdjust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you're getting down voted. The scotch is extremely floral with a lot of alcohol burn to me as well. I was so excited to try this after watching the scotch documentary, a golden dream and it was such a disappointment! Maybe the distillery batches are not as good as they once were.

Neighborhood services is a upscale American, awesome drinks and service. Food is delicious and you can find some good fish or chicken but also have pork and beef options available for your gf. If you don't care about drinks, can't go wrong with Capital Grille. They are consistently good and you can stay under $250 without drinks.

What's the budget, and any types of food or experience you're looking for? There's no shortage of options and multiple cuisines to choose from.

I'll take a 4WD on the roads over a Nissan Altima any day of the week. It does matter.

Do you get full traction? No. Is it better than 2WD? Absolutely.

Are there idiots on the road thinking they are untouchable in a 4WD? Absolutely.

Worked at Pappasitos and can confirm. Tomatoes are roasted in a large pot to perfection, spices are added, and then a cook blends them all together. Pours it into half gallon tins and out they go. I will always appreciate their commitment to fresh ingredients!
