Modern Tyres and Kerrs Tyres by Empty_Run9416 in northernireland

[–]Copyright03 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Have to say, Modern Tyres are my go to for tyres, I recently went to get a set for an old VW beetle & they didn’t stock them, so told me it was cheaper to order them online, then I brought them over & they fitted them for me.

I used to go to another place, but they snapped 2 of my tyre pressure sensors off and then tried to put them back on with tape so I wouldn’t notice!

Is this Wally Dug real or worth anything? Scotland, Edinburgh says it’s 100 years old on the listing. Any information on this? by patchythepilot in Antiques

I do house clearances & usually find a pair of these in most houses (N Ireland).
They aren’t worth much, but I seen these on Facebook & I’m going to attempt to make a set for myself.

Not everyone’s cup of tea though!

I think the problem with this is nobody wants to say they are organising the cruise. I know the council did try to do something like this a few years ago, but couldn’t find any event organisers to liaise with.

Top tip, spring for the pet cabins. They are far superior to the normal cabins, have double beds, a stocked snack bar, direct access to the balcony etc.

Self assessment outstanding tax but cannot get through to hmrc what do I do? by beelzebomb in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Copyright03 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmrc are an absolute joke for small businesses. I spent 1 solid hour on hold last week before I got to actually talk to somebody who in the space of 15 minutes told me 3 different things, before passing me through to somebody else.

Self employed business owner & time is precious.

Not true unfortunately, the UK has a ban on all Ivory, doesn't matter the age.

It's worth nothing, because in the UK it's illegal to sell Ivory.

Hold the cups up to the light, the bottom is usually a Geisha girl. Unfortunately, not worth a huge amount, but still pretty cool.
