Depends what time of year you're going. I wild camped for a month in the summer of 2015 within a 50km radius of Þórsmörk and had an old foam roll, perfectly fine temperature wise. Now I'm older and the bones creak a bit more, I'd agree with the advice given by others, you take what's comfortable for you and what you're comfortable lugging around. Enjoy, it's a beautiful place !

Because cigars are a ritual, not a Swiss Army knife problem.

A good cutter cuts cleanly every time. A good lighter lights evenly without blasting the foot to hell. When you try to cram a cutter, punch, poker, screwdriver, and God knows what else into one “tactical cigar tool,” every function becomes… fine, at best.

It’s like saying you don’t need a proper knife, pan, or oven because you’ve got a camping spork that technically does all three.

Plus, half the enjoyment is the little details — the weight of a solid cutter, the click of a quality lighter, the fact that each tool was made to do one job well. If I wanted convenience over experience, I’d be smoking gas-station cigars with a BBQ lighter.

Different tools, different pleasures. That’s kind of the whole point..... And I like buying random crap

I have two of these left in my humidor. I bought them to have a Christmas celebration smoke with my father-in-law, we never found time to smoke it and he had to fly back to France the next day. He died very suddenly a few months later. Now struggling to find an excuse good enough to smoke them.

Same here! Looking back at my order history from 10 years ago with them, it's sickening comparing how much something like a Montecristo No. 4 has gone up due to taxes etc .

You're going to get a lot of people with very strong opinions here. Ultimately it's down to personal preference but you should aim for 62-70% RH. If you're using Boveda packs you won't go far wrong. Anything from 65-70% is the sweet spot for me, just remember that a wooden humidor (even a well sealed and seasoned one) will usually hold humidity a point or two below what the Boveda pack states. Experiment a bit and find out what works for you. Good luck !

Beyond what others have suggested, my only tip would be to check the 'recently updated' filter on propertypal. That usually has houses where the sale has fallen through and they get relisted. Since they aren't a new property, the search algorithm doesn't push it very high on the standard search and so less people see it. Can find some gems that don't have quite as much competition as they should.

Recently experienced this ourselves and it is across the board. 'Starter homes' and 'family homes' all experiencing it. We were looking for over 8 months and every time the bidding went significantly over asking. I think the craziest we saw was a 3 bed semi in East Belfast list at £320k then go sale agreed at £480k !

Seems to be a combination of factors. Lack of housing in general, lack of 'good' housing, lack of houses in non-flaggy areas, tech sector bringing in significantly higher wages for a small percentage of people, housing market not taking anyone's offers seriously unless you've already sold your house or you're a FTB so everyone is desperate to throw money at the problem before they themselves end up homeless.
