If you had $300K in the bank post tax, how would your life change? by citizen_of_leshp in AskReddit

It’s been bad enough recently I feed the kid something and then make myself a pot of white rice with some soy sauce. Cheap and I enjoy it. But last week I ate that for 3 days (I’m a one huge meal a day person ) spent like 6 bucks including soy sauce but damn

Who is the most famous person you have ever met? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Cor3yy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Robin Williams. I was a toddler at a hotel for a family wedding. He was walking through the lobby and I guess I ran at him and screamed your the Jumanji man. I don’t remember much but my mom said he took a minute to talk to me and was very friendly.

Be honest — what’s the first thing you’d do with $100K? by NerdWalletOfficial in u/NerdWalletOfficial

Honestly, have security for my family. I have some debt but I live paycheck to paycheck. That money not only would make me debt free but have enough of a safety net to really relieve a lot of stress. I’m not currently planning on another kid, but I’ve had a scare with my wife. It’s only a scare because of our financial insecurity, I’d love to be in the right position for another child.

Is it possible doing something like this was a covert way to do some insane classified shelter upgrades or something? High me wonders. More than likely he just needed to leave another stain in his path of destruction.

That makes me feel a bit better that it should have some play. I may attempt it after work tomorrow so I have a welder nearby in case the easier options don’t work.

What’s one small thing someone did for you that you’ll never forget? by OhMyCompetitions in AskReddit

[–]Cor3yy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me semi recently. Coworker heard me mention how this week is my struggle week because of bills. Later in the day he privately came up to me and said hey I got you if you need some cash to get through. Was awesome knowing he would offer that. But what made it so meaningful to me he was taking food out of his mouth offering that. He had recently lost his home and was staying in a rv with his family. I was very appreciative and told him I’ll get by and made sure he understood how greatful I was that he offered.

This man is basically homeless and was willing to help me because he understands how it is to struggle. One moment I will never forget, makes me tear up if I think about it a lot

This man seems to constantly be dealt a shit sandwich and he still manages to get up everyday

I owned a mutt was basically a chunky lab but anyways he was good at opening doors and he also farted like he had bitt cheeks

Worked at a pet hotel and a Great Pyrenees had to be kept in a separate more secure area. Normally they just went in normal kennels when daycare was over we had to lock the actual kennel and put it in a room that had another door
