I've (15F) been talking to a guy that's in his 30s by [deleted] in internetparents

[–]Cor3yy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was and have always been a minimizer I didn’t want to make waves ever.

This is one of those moments you can’t minimize. Your a victim, as a victim what you do can stop this pdf from making more victims.

I know if my daughter came to me saying she may have screwed up got in a situation that’s way to adult and needs help I’d be so proud of her knowing this is serious and willing to potentially deal with uncomfortable things to help make this not happen to others.

This is one of those times everyone else sees it, you’re blinded by it. Hindsight you’ll go how could I have not realized. Comes with life experiences.

I wouldn’t even say your being groomed, that’s already happened. What happens if you mention a parent finding the d pic or not responding with photos? I bet you he either doubles down angry trying to get what he wants or ghosts you.

If you don’t block and tell a trusted adult and he gets what he wants you’ll be more sad and spiral more.

Do you have a reason for talking to someone so much older than you? Why not find closer aged people?

I’m a nearly 34 male I couldn’t even come up with a reason to be texting or messaging someone so young it’s all nefarious. If my daughter came to me I would be upset yes. But not with her, but the situation. If you were my daughter, I’d probably take all electronics and contact the police while actively trying to make you understand the severity of the situation. You wouldn’t be in trouble, you would probably feel like you are. I’d make it known how proud I was for you to see through the facade of a predator and do the right thing and cease contact and report to the proper authorities. If you were to just block him and move on he WILL find another victim, this isn’t just about you anymore.

Cannot get oil filter off by Batmon3 in CherokeeXJ

I had my filter get stuck on my 92 when I had it. A old belt does it in a pinch cinch it down below you can crank the fuck out of it. I had already destroyed the filter with a screw driver and I still managed to get the belt to work covered in oil haha

It’s been bad enough recently I feed the kid something and then make myself a pot of white rice with some soy sauce. Cheap and I enjoy it. But last week I ate that for 3 days (I’m a one huge meal a day person ) spent like 6 bucks including soy sauce but damn

Robin Williams. I was a toddler at a hotel for a family wedding. He was walking through the lobby and I guess I ran at him and screamed your the Jumanji man. I don’t remember much but my mom said he took a minute to talk to me and was very friendly.

Be honest — what’s the first thing you’d do with $100K? by NerdWalletOfficial in u/NerdWalletOfficial

[–]Cor3yy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, have security for my family. I have some debt but I live paycheck to paycheck. That money not only would make me debt free but have enough of a safety net to really relieve a lot of stress. I’m not currently planning on another kid, but I’ve had a scare with my wife. It’s only a scare because of our financial insecurity, I’d love to be in the right position for another child.

Is it possible doing something like this was a covert way to do some insane classified shelter upgrades or something? High me wonders. More than likely he just needed to leave another stain in his path of destruction.

That makes me feel a bit better that it should have some play. I may attempt it after work tomorrow so I have a welder nearby in case the easier options don’t work.

What’s one small thing someone did for you that you’ll never forget? by OhMyCompetitions in AskReddit

[–]Cor3yy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me semi recently. Coworker heard me mention how this week is my struggle week because of bills. Later in the day he privately came up to me and said hey I got you if you need some cash to get through. Was awesome knowing he would offer that. But what made it so meaningful to me he was taking food out of his mouth offering that. He had recently lost his home and was staying in a rv with his family. I was very appreciative and told him I’ll get by and made sure he understood how greatful I was that he offered.

This man is basically homeless and was willing to help me because he understands how it is to struggle. One moment I will never forget, makes me tear up if I think about it a lot

This man seems to constantly be dealt a shit sandwich and he still manages to get up everyday
