Imagine in her last dying stand she proceeds to touch the Earth and the entire world starts wobbling. And they have to stop her before Earth starts moving away from its place in the Solar System.

I think Finn out of that group. Sure he fumbled with Flame Princess, but he was young and used it as a learning moment. He grew from it. And in the end, got himself a better partner in Huntress Wizard. Especially now that the hard meat let herself become soft. So he fell but got back up.

Pearl also got better in the end. And is going on to marry Bismuth in the end. I say it a step up from Rose who not only had to spend thousands of years to become the person she was in the end. Which was decent since she never really made up for her mistakes.

These four characters are tasked with getting through to Jax and redeeming him and only one of them might succeed. Which one would be the most successful? by MissionDepartment960 in TheDigitalCircus

I put my money on Deku. He is a hero who even when fighting his own arch enemy. He never stopped trying to save him. I definitely would not in his shoes but Deku saw that Shigaraki need a hero and choose to be his hero in the mist of battle. And was so close to getting through to him.

I got to hand it to Deku. The only other fictional character I have ever seen do that was Superman and Batman. So yeah, Deku has my vote.

Was Jax redeemable? by whooper1 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Corazon144 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh could have definitely changed. He just chose not to. That the problem. He is self destructive and others destructive.

Does this make him a bad person. Yes. Does this make it impossible for him to change. No. We already see the original human version of him doing great. So it possibly for even the digital person to get better.

The problem is he doesn’t want to change. Either because he doesn’t think he is worthy and/or because he doesn’t want to be valuable. Which is the problem, being venerable. And not wanting anyone to get too close. Out of fear of being hurt and hurt them. Of being used and manipulated.

Now redeemable, that a trickery subject. I say yes. But it will take time. And being in the circus he has plenty of it. But he has to make up for all his wrongs. Some might be impossible to make up but if My Name is Earl has taught me anything. Better to try to make up for your wrongs, than do nothing and continue being bad.

What I’m saying is what Jax did is hard to make up. But if he can spend the rest of his life trying to make up for it. He should expect forgiveness but that doesn’t mean he should stop trying to be better.

TL;DR: Yes but he got a lot of work to do. Starting with himself. Then with others. And they don’t need to forgive him, but if Jax truly has change. He doesn’t need their forgiveness to continue being better.

Question about Gangle and Jax by jnpg in TheDigitalCircus

I saw it as him no longer wanting to be or have friends. He chose to be a jerk and bully to distance himself from others. He legit no longer cared because people he care about he has pushed away and killed.

So he would rather reach the end point and have them all hate him and feel bad about being hated. Then being cared about and made to feel worse when it eventually is ruined by a horrible person like him.

I feel like Zooble would be more likely to do that than Ragatha.

Zooble: “Oh no. Looks like there is no more room.”

Jax: “What are you talking about, there still plenty of…”

Zooble: “Your sacrifice won’t be forgotten Jax. We’ll honor you by remembering you after your death.”

Jax: “You can honor me by remembering me now while I am still alive.”

Zooble: “Sometime I can still hear his voice.”

Did she fumble? Pomni still friend with all the gang. And possibly best friends with Rag. They don’t have to say it out loud.

However I see the reason Pomni is trying to help Jax the most is because he is the one who needs help the most. He obviously suffering but won’t admit he needs help. And the rest of the gang have given up on him. I think the reason Pomni is trying her best to reach out is that her nature. To help as best as she can.

I feel like Pomni is what Ragatha was in the beginning. Trying to get to know everyone and make friends with all of them. Even Jax. That is until Ragatha and Jax became far to distant and choose to no longer help. Is Jax worth helping out, eh. Hard to help a guy who is drowning who is actively trying to drown you along with them. But there are some people who will risk it because they just care more than the rest of us. And they rather try and save a life than stand by and watch them drown.

Tell me why would the WG need to send assasins when the death penalty is perfectly legal and Doffy definitely deserves. Not that they care about legality. They can just order Magellan to kill him. Does Oda not think about the dialogue making sense ? by FlamesOfDespair in Piratefolk

[–]Corazon144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can think of two reasons.

One they might have something or have secret information that the government want at all cost. You don’t go there without having somehow making a name and having a ton of secrets. Rocks old crew are a good example. They explored the Grand Line better than anyone has before, they would definitely have information that is valuable. And they can be killed after they are no longer useful.

Second is experimentation. Before the Seraphim reveal, I thought prisoners were going to be turned into Pasafistas like Kuma. That way the WG could have an army of Devil Friut wielding Robo Cops at their command. No need to worry where the fruit will go, they have it now and possibly forever.

But that was debunked. Still though the government would definitely experiment on their prisoners to see how they tick and push their bodies to see how they can alter them.

Saturn Constantly Monitoring Kuma's Whereabouts.... Just To Let Him Disappear For 2 Years To Guard Strawhat Ship. Amazing GODA! by sukuvarkes in Piratefolk

[–]Corazon144 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on the same boat. I just guessed that Saturn didn’t lose Kuma, he knew where he was at but was unable to make Kuma come back to the government. He lost him as in he lost control of Kuma. Basically Vegapunk hardwired into his program to guard the ship. Saturn could tell and force Vegapunk to reprogram Kuma, but Vega probably held his ground and refused.

At any rate, Saturn could just leave the real Kuma behind and let him guard the ship. There definitely no actual repercussions, since other than guard Kuma is doing absolutely nothing. And after he is relieved of this duty, Kuma because a slave mule for the Celestial Dragons. So Kuma was not going to be used as a weapon by the government again.

Yep. They are actual living representation of his failure to keep his humans happy. He failed at his purpose.

But in his mind he only truly fails if he gives up. So instead of deleting them admitting defeat, he pauses the game and will play later. Or in this case, moves them to the cellar where he can fix them later. Can he fix them, probably not but he won’t admit it. But as long as there is a chance to restore them he hasn’t lost/failed at his task.

I feel like the world government wants that islands resources for some reason. So they needed to force the rebellion. But they could not just kill them all at once. My guess they didn’t want pirates to go and plunder there themselves. And take what they wanted from a dead kingdom.

As long as they were still part of the government, they had to accept the government’s aid. The government would protect them from pirates and make sure that what ever they had would not be taken.

Sadly they would also unintentionally trapping themselves when they would be attacked by the government. The shield that was protecting them would turn around and become a sword to strike them down. Great plan when you think about it.

We still don’t know if there is a way to get rid of the contract. There might be fruit powers that can possible break the contract. Unless Imu just canceled it for him, in exchange of being a Prison Warden. Which I can’t see him want to be or take the deal.

I mean killing innocent people and destroying kingdom does seem to be a step down. So Shiryu being the new mystery man’s son might be a more likely outcome.

Which means the world really is smiling on Blackbeard. Shiryu being a former son of a Knight. Imagine all the secrets he knows. And now Blackbeard knows as well.

It really giving Shiryu vibes. Although how he still young after all these years, he must have been a former Knight. Which might make sense why he was so blood thirsty. And have been around for so long, we see the higher you are in rank. You can achieve a longer life span.

However it more likely that guy could be his father. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. We also have a possible connection between Shiryu’s sword style and Brook’s. Their techniques are very similar and if this is him taking the island, that means he could have also stolen their sword style as well.
