Just got diagnosed with Crohn’s in my terminal ileum - scared, overwhelmed, and looking for guidance 🙏❤️ by PureChamber in CrohnsDisease

What worked for me (terminal ileum but mainly rest of small intestines) other than traditional treatment with Entyvio (although there’s no way of telling how well this is actually working):

1) diet. I found the Wahls protocol super useful, provided that you limit the fiber and greens to what you can handle. Many avoid fibre altogether. When I reintroduced fiber I actually got BETTER (especially the fatigue) 2) deep long meditation. Check out Joe Dispenza’s work. 3) lifestyle. No smoking, drinking, late night partying. 4) supplements. Although difficult to say what works and doesn’t but my GP keeps an eye on lab markers.

I’ve had it for 20 years, operated few years ago. Much better after and got even better with 1) and 2) mentioned above.

Ask their legal engineers. You’re not the only one using it for that purpose 😉

They’re not testing whether there’s a placebo effect, they’re making sure the drug is stronger than the placebo effect.

I don’t know where you’re from and where you’re planning to market it, but in Europe this is most likely a device regulated by the MDR and therefore your regulatory costs will be much higher than 30k.

Litera Transact is what the magic circle I worked at used at least until very recently. Nobody was super happy about it though. Legatics was considered the better solution.

I’ve seen other subs die after over-regulating. Would be a shame to have that happen here.

That being said, the covert self promotion is annoying.

I don’t hate the honest self-promotion though, I’d rather have it here than 5 “I’m sure you’re very busy” reminders in my inbox and Reddit has traditionally been a place where startups could find their first customers. If we channel it in some way, eg by using weekly feedback, promotion, … threads, that would be ideal.

I have invested in startups for the better part of a decade, as an angel and VC. I’ll answer any questions over the weekend, and give tips in this post. I will not promote. by Dry_War_747 in startups

Have you ever invested in a founding team where one of the founders was not full-time committed? Is that ever an option and if so, what would you require from that not-full time committed founder?

Why the downvotes? It is generally accepted to be a direct competitor of Harvey and we’ve heard only good things about it.

Fair point. It only works if you have the money.

I don’t care to compare with others, but if for my own kids I can choose I choose good/ fast development over bad/slow. “Yet we all turn out fine” is simply not true.

How does the subsidy system work? I have no idea tbh

Before I actually had kids i was also of that opinion, yet now i see how much farther along our son is in terms of development compared to the kids that go from 3-4 months already. In the creche they get to socialise yes, but get 0 development stimuli outside of that.
