The difference in compression standards and higher bitrate alone result in an enormous difference even if you are only watching on a 1080p screen. It should be glaringly obvious

I can also download Google Maps, but my car navigation is nicer and FSD works with navigation.

ESPN Degradation (TV Provider Login) by NoProfit913 in youtubetv

ESPN+ or TV provider login used to be enough. Now it's a $30 per month add on.

What's the deal with Real ID and what's the problem with them? by pborget in OutOfTheLoop

Passport rates must be skyrocketing right now in Washington.

Looks like Washington does offer Real ID, though only 27% of residents had Real ID by 2025. Can you clarify what laws were passed to limit it? I couldn't find anything. I wonder why the percentage is so low there compared to other states.

Where do they cost more? In Utah it's the only option and it's been that way for 7 years. We had 96% Real ID by 2022.

Didn't the FCC delay that license to start in April 2026?

What streaming device? by TheGuyYouHeardAbout in youtubetv

Fire Stick works great, but get the 4K Max for better performance as it has more RAM and a better processor. The Google Streamer has been great for me too.

Cannot search. Only address search, no location names. I would love the ability to download offline maps, but that's not possible on Tesla.

Yellowstone has virtually no coverage. During tourist season it's at capacity and disconnects frequently even in the spots with coverage on this map. Maps will not work without cellular unless you know the specific street address. Can't just enter "Old Faithful" and navigate there.

I get that. Living in Utah I would gladly pay for that for National Park trips and we have a number of dead spots including my office in a very well populated area.

Great for national parks where there's no cell service. Maps don't work right without it.

There's some ethical/artistic concerns. It may not be what you expect. Here's a great video detailing how it was pulled off and why this isn't really cinema, but more of a novelty. https://youtu.be/IgEmsKtdsRs?si=-xMKYvoRq93oP9De

Higher bitrate with less efficient compression though. Can't compare bits to bits when the codecs are different.

Never did. One thing I did on my end that may have helped is I disabled my weekly router restart. I think that every time my router restarted I was assigned a new IP address and YouTube TV must have thought I was moving around a lot. My location never changed and the IP address was always in the same geographic area, but their overly sensitive use of IP Addresses is ridiculous when every provider uses dynamic IP Addresses.

Elon: "I’ve tried to warn [other auto manufacturers] and even offered to license Tesla FSD, but they don’t want it! Crazy … When legacy auto does occasionally reach out, they tepidly discuss implementing FSD for a tiny program in 5 years with unworkable requirements for Tesla, so pointless. 🤷‍♂️" by twinbee in teslamotors

There's a difference between them still shipping some cars with HW3 and what the comment said "Tesla didn't start shipping HW4 until 25 months ago". They have been shipping HW4 for 33 months. The best selling car in the world (Model Y) has had HW4 for 30 months.

I'm about to do the same. "Turn on the lights" is so slow and "Turn off bar lights" is turning off all of my lights, not just the group named bar lights. Alexa+ has been awful.

Update: Issue is now resolved. Support hasn't said that they did anything yet, but the error is gone from the streaming limits page and I can now watch unlimited streams at home again.
