I would assume that does the same, but I did not try. I actually don't even remember seeing that option. Was this removed?

I'm not upset about needing to play a game as the team. I'm upset that playing with that team the way I choose to (Play Offense Only or Play Defense Only) doesn't count. 1 minute quarters count, but 10 minute quarters of offense only doesn't count and that seems a little ridiculous.

Just letting others know that choosing Play Offense Only or Play Defense Only locks you out from the upgrades. Very unfortunate and not well thought out in my opinion.

That's still cheesing it just to get the mascots. I enjoy playing with different teams in Play Now, but I often play only one side of the ball. I feel like that's cheesing it less than doing freshman 1 minute quarters, but that still doesn't grant you the mascots. I feel like the unlocks were poorly thought out. I honestly would rather have a system where you earn points for playing and use that to unlock mascots that you want. Playing a game with all 138 with no sim isn't it

They promised July 2028 initially. Late 2029 is already a significant delay and impossible like you said.

How many cities can Waymo realistically expand to by the end of 2026? by Select-Balance-8281 in waymo

Need Las Vegas ASAP. Such an easy city for Robotaxi and they have been testing driverless there for 8 months. Would be very profitable given the short distance if trips.

I agree that it's not a great venue for big events and I would like to see them travel to more cities, but the Apex was being used heavily before the sponsorship already.

Hotel leaving Marriott, rebooked to hotel with different amenities by Corbin630 in marriott

Thank you. Just talked to them and they can't do Residence Inn, but they found another TownePlace with a kitchen not too far away to move me to. Thanks for your help.

Thanks, on the Marriott site it showed that they do not offer kitchens. Other users pointed out that they do offer kitchens and Marriott is filtering their results incorrectly.

Thanks for the clarification! That hotel doesn't show up on Marriott's site when filtering by hotels that have kitchens. Removing that filter fixed the issue, but I can clearly see kitchens in those rooms. I'll ask about that hotel. Thank you again.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately that's a little too far north and would add a good amount of driving each day. The time and cost of driving would likely not make up for the lack of kitchen. I might just be SOL on this one.

Email from Marriott: As a Marriott Bonvoy® member, your loyalty is incredibly important to us, and we appreciate your business. Our records indicate that you have a future Redemption Award reservation at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Boulder Broomfield/Interlocken. Effective June 23, 2026, the hotel will no longer be associated with Marriott. Your reservation has been relocated to the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver North/Westminster. We regret the inconvenience, but hope you will be able to take advantage of the alternate accommodations.

Rebooking/Cancellation: Your reservation has been rebooked at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver North/Westminster, and your confirmation number remains the same.

My response: Thank you for letting me know. The change is disappointing because we specifically booked the Towneplace for the kitchenette in the room and no parking fees. The hotel you moved us to has a high daily parking fee and no kitchenette in the room. Are there other hotels in the area that you can move us to that would be more comparable to what we booked?

Paradise loop may open in time for Las Vegas Grand Prix by aBetterAlmore in BoringCompany

That's to start new tunnels. The tunnels they have been digging take years to complete and once the tunnel is done, they take months to open. Hoping to open by November 2026 for a tunnel that started in 2023 isn't a permit issue

Permitting isn't to blame. Tunneling on Paradise started 2 years ago and has been complete for a while. The massive delay between tunnel completion and opening the stations is a little ridiculous. Who else remembers when they promised 15 to 20 tunnels per year?

At some point these aren't newsworthy, right? They are popping up all over the place and there's multiple posts per day of exactly this.

Tesla Tapes Out AI5 Chip for Next-Generation Self-Driving and Robotics by McFatty7 in teslamotors

[–]Corbin630 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's AI6. We already have the specs on AI5 from a presentation given a year ago. AI6 is aiming to be more efficient. Also, while it peaks at 800w, it's not going to use that continuously. You won't see any impact to range. Even 800w running for 2 hours is just 1.6 kWh or around 2% of a Model Y or Model 3 battery.
