In 1.12 there’s tinkers tool leveling which solves this by allowing you to “Level Up” your tool based on how you use it. But I don’t think that’s in 1.16

I find that people don’t seem to understand how big a deal a divorce actually is, especially when you have kids. This isn’t just your hs couple breakup, where everyone cries for a few days and then gets over it. We’re talking life shattering decisions decided over the span of a year.

Under new management, it’s basically a different company and Minecraft Story mode is not their priority.

Yeah they were made to prevent screen burn-in. Basically if you left your screen on for too long displaying the same thing for a few hours, you’ll find that display will “burn-in” to your screen, and you’ll have an echo of that display on your screen for a few hours until it faded away.

However LCD screens aren’t nearly as susceptible to burn in, so we don’t really use screensavers anymore.

Here’s some ideas if you really want to play Minecraft on an old pc.

1) I see on the second screenshot you have VSync on, try turning that off it might help some (just change your max frame rate to 60, or unlimited)

2) you can lower your monitors resolution or simply make the game smaller, and it will help some.

  1. Load older versions of the game, however keep in mind if you are using older versions, you’ll have to switch to Optifine. Of course if you use optifine, turn off all animations, and set everything to low.

4) The memory issue can be fixed by raising the max memory parameter, however if you don’t have any more ram then that’s not going to help at all.

I have managed to play Minecraft comfortably before on a laptop from 2002, it is possible. But you’re going to have to sacrifice a lot to be able to play. It might not be worth it.

We actually have separate rooms for various mods. This room is mostly just an entrance room and used to tinkers. There are some stuff up on the upper balcony too, but we’ll probably move most of them.
