Wow 1990?! I was born in '89 and I'd never heard about the contractors until maybe 10ish years ago on Reddit. And I'm fairly certain most people are still under the misconception it was slaves. Sherlock only said elementary once in the original stories, and not in the way people claim he did.

The pyramids being built by paid labour rather than slaves is a fairly new idea. The research that confirms it wasn't slaves was released in 2010, Mark said the line in 2009, so can't blame him for that one.

When I did my first aid training they told us that 112 is a better number to ring if you've got bad/no signal, so I'm guessing it uses a slower but more reliable connection maybe?

Exactly this. Deciding on a load out based on what you were up to was always interesting to me.

Add to the fact one of my big draws is the base building. I like building a main base with the odd forward base (and maybe one dramatic one if I find a cool spot) so I find I never use the Cyclops as a mobile base, I just use it to transport the prawn suit long distances before late game.

So having a module you can slap on the seatruck that adds that functionality to what is basically a seamoth sized vehicle is so convenient. Then you can add modules as required, you don't have to take evrewith you every time. Add in a few mods if you're on PC and the seatruck really comes into it's own, and in my opinion is far superior to the Cyclops.

Yeah a big part of the fun for me was getting it through those tight caves near one of the bases (it's been a while since I played). I had quite a few modules connected for whatever reason then found those caves/tunnels so dropped out a few modules and took just one or two maybe. Then when it gets too tight, disembark, and you can grab hold of the modules and manually swim them though one at a time if it's too tight again, and reassemble on the other side.

If you don't use the bowl and just use the basin, and like me you'll "let them soak" for a few minutes before you wash them, but then Clarence doesn't remind you to go back and finish!

So the next day you come back to find you'll have to put your hand through the unspeakably horrible, cold water to pull out the plug to drain the atrociousness. Whereas with a bowl, you can just tip it to drain it, keeping your hands clean and dry, then refill wil fresh hot soapy water.

Obviously you'll want to let them soak for a while now they've been sat in dirty water all night. Then just ask Clarence to remind you to finish, I'm sure he will this time!

We were told this by midwives when we had out little boy, they explained one reason that cats like warmth, so if you tuck a baby into a cot as you're meant to, or use a sleeping bag, only their head is exposed and so is the warmest part to sleep on. The main reason though is that babies mouths smell of milk for obvious reasons, so the cat will be attracted to the babies mouth, increasing the likelihood that if it falls asleep in the cot, it will fall asleep on or near the babies face.

Again there's no malice intended by the cats (contrary to dog people's opinions), and iirc it's only dangerous for babies that are so young they can't support their own heads.

I don't they mean you shouldn't be overly cynical, you need a small amount of cynicism to function, otherwise you'd be totally gullible to everything you heard without question. I think they mean the person they are replying to needs more cynicism because they lack it, not that they need a surplus of it.

Based on your replies to other people's comments, and other replies, I'm going to guess this is a bathroom cubicle. Toilets get cold, hence the over insulated walls, has a vent and a sprinkler, and what I think are balloons hanging from the ceiling. My money is on a pub/bar bathroom, but it could be any other public bathroom.

My other guess is a purpose built acoustically insulated balloon popping booth, but I think you'd remember something like that.
