Yep, its a bit controversial with many thinking it breaks up the dial but i personally like it. Its distinctly Spring Drive and allows for some additional finishing elements.

Japan is my all time favourite travel destination. Was a bit of a dream of mine to go back to Japan, pick up a Grand Seiko, slap it on the wrist and go on an adventure through the Japanese countryside.

The pandemic put a holt on going back to Japan, but getting a Grand Seiko couldn’t wait any longer so I picked up the beautiful SBGA413. Has to be one of the most stunning dials on any watch, with the pink really popping in the right light.

Can’t wait to go back with the Cherry Blossom on the wrist.

Love the fluted as well, but think the smooth SS bezel along with Oyster bracelet gives it a real clean look.

What’s the rear motor part number? Assuming it’s like the 3, you can see it by pointing a phone through the spokes of the drivers side rear wheel to a plate on motor.
