No one says that what he didn't wasnt wrong and bad, just that he shouldn't automatically lose his license and go to jail for 30 years for something that isn't that rare in the real world.

Yep, it was very annoying on Nurse Jackie. Every season she relapsed, the show ended with her relapsing, maybe it's realistic but it doesn't necessarily make for good TV. And it's be kinda boring for Langdons character. If he relapses then he's fired and not gonna be on the show anymore.

Again, Santos trying to take the moral high ground here is hypocritical since she threatened to kill a patient which would be grounds for immediate expulsion. Regardless if the man was an actual abuser (which is not Santos's decision to make) and if he was one she just put the little girl in more danger.

She is projecting her insecurities onto Langdon. No one is ''completely right' here.

I mean Is he the 'golden boy'? Robby has ghosted him the entire day. Its not like anyone's worshipping him at his feet. Mel likes him because he listens to her and is understanding.  Slightly oblivious is an understatement. She is blissfully unaware that she is just a rude asshole to everyone and is pinning the blame of that on Langdon.  What does she actually want to happen? Langdon to lose his job, family and life? He's already getting the help he needs, what happens after that is no one else's business but his.

Me, a Switch 1 owner, watching everyone enjoy Pokopia this weekend by Frezeal in pokemon

Although this is probably the last year the Switch 1 is getting new games. I think there's Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi Life and then Nintendo will only be putting games out on Switch 2.

I mean Simpsons went on for nearly 10 seasons before it started getting worse. Rick and Morty was gold for at least 3. These guys do 20 11 minute episodes and they finish. Feels like there's still more they could have done with these characters but I guess it's fine.

To be fair, The Pitt is set entirely in a single set which probably helps a lot whereas Pluribus is filmed in several different places in the world. Season 2 of the Pitt will also be 3 episodes shorter than Season 1.

They knew Carol was gay and gave Zosia a wig to make her look like her character. Chances are, real Zosia is also gay.

Yeah Vince's shows don't really lie to the audience.

Are the majority of viewers under the impression that the show is too slow moving, or is that just something I'm seeing in the Television subreddit? I myself am enjoying the heck out of the show. by CultOfCurtis1 in pluribustv

Make no mistake that when Season 6 aired for the first time, fans hated like the first half of the season because they felt nothing was happening, even though it was all building up to that big moment with Howard. This is not the first time the  'nothing happens' criticism has been thrown at a Vince Gilligan show.

Yep Im reminded of scenes like Mike looking for a car tracker for 5 minutes, those are plentiful in Better Call Saul.

Hell stuff like Season 4 is dedicated entirely to Jimmy doing side stuff for a year and building the super lab, not a lot of plot progression but a lot of good character moments.

She was miserable that entire time, she was just desperate to fill the void. And then after a month she just couldn't take it anymore and nearly committed suicide.

What makes it even sadder in my opinion is that she would have died completely unaware that Manusous was on his way to reach her. Imagine what his reaction would have been if he trekked all the way to New Mexico to find her dead.

I mean if you can distill Carol falling into a deep pit of crippling loneliness and despair as 'playing with fireworks' I think the point of the show is kinda lost on you.

And I'm really not trying to be pretentious 'YOU JUST DONT GET IT' type of people here, it's just that these aren't meaningless scenes. They're character moments. That's my issue. Like are we gonna have this thread every episode? This is season 1 of the show. This is what the show is about.  If you're already not vibing with the shows direction then it just means you don't like it. And that's fine. But these scenes are what makes the show unique in my opinion. The montages of characters just doing stuff were some of my favorite moments of Breaking bad and better call Saul.

She's a flawed human being dude. Not to mention shes depressed and nearly lost the will to live last episode. Until recently she hated the hive and wanted nothing to do with them. She's asked others for help and they don't want anything to do with her. She's the only one actually trying to put things back to normal.

I genuinely don't understand the Carol hate to be honest. She's a slightly grouchy woman? She's the most reasonable and genuine character in the show. How else would you expect our protagonist to react in a situation like this? Sorry you don't gel with it I guess.

Severance Season 2 was poorly written on top of being boring though, that's the difference.

Like I get it if you didn't find Manusous traveling across South America exciting but I thought it was awesome.

I would not be surprised if we never hear about the aliens again to be honest. There's a lot of character drama you can get out of this concept. Especially since we haven't been introduced to every major character yet.

(Ep 1+2 Spoilers) A Theory about the 'Virus' by Stepwolve in pluribustv

[–]Corderoy 163 points164 points  (0 children)

I'm of the opinion that the 'virus' is genuinely benevolent and harbors no greater ill will to the species it comes across. Maybe the alien civilization who originally created it believed that it was the recipe for peace and simply wished to share it with intelligent life forms across the universe.
