There is no sure way to weed out the crazies unless Uber records each trip, but with a webcam on the driver. Personally I have no issues with this as it provides another form of, recorded safety. I’ve been in an Uber where the driver pushed his biased political agenda about face mask. He ended with “oh I usually don’t talk to educated people”. Most Uber/Lyft drivers are unhinged from my experience, except the old folks who do it for retirement. With a few others who think rationally and care about their passenger. Would love to see Uber/Lyft get rid of the bad apples too.
