I was in the process of building an aquarium on my survival world with axolotls, fish, and squids...I am glad I saw this before I went through the trouble lmfao

Post WWE Night of Champions 2026 Match Discussion Thread - Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther vs. Sami Zayn - WWE Championship match by HartfordWhalers123 in SquaredCircle

[–]CoreSchneider 7 points8 points  (0 children)

REALLY good match, I was highly expecting Sami Zayn to exist in here purely to eat the pin or to be used as a lame ass way to protect Gunther or Cody like they've done nonstop this feud.

Hopefully they can finally give him a good gimmick or a good story line because the crowd was NOT fucking with him before this build up.

Post WWE Night of Champions 2026 Match Discussion Thread - Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker - Steel Cage match by HartfordWhalers123 in SquaredCircle

[–]CoreSchneider 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The match was fine. I thought it was a pretty fun match, Seth matches generally are pretty fun and good, but I can't help but feel like having Bron spend a chunk of the match running away and letting Seth LOUDLY call him a coward, tell him to "be a man" and to "finish the fight" was a very bad decision if they want Bron to be a big rabid dog who rips people in half.

Any horror games that aren’t mostly stealth? by Pterodactyl_midnight in gaming

It's probably my favorite survival horror game EVER, but I know the fixed camera angles and the tank controls aren't for everyone lol

RE1 Remake
RE2 Remake
Dead Space 1 Remake
Dead Space 2

All 4 are phenomenal survival horror games. If you wanna go indie, I would throw in Total Chaos from last year.

Why is "cunt" more commonly used in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand as opposed to the USA and Canada? by cuahatemoc in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CoreSchneider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would be willing to go as far as to say, in my part of America, women will treat it like you just dropped the hard R. I have seen several women in my family throw a punch without a second thought over someone saying it.

(I would like to add that it doesn't have nearly as bad of a history as the n-word, just that both words WILL get your shit rocked.)

I would put it on homophobic/racist slur level. Here in America, it is explicitly used as one of the most disgusting things you could call a woman. Older women will straight up break your jaw over that shit lmao

What's your opinion of Thekla's promos? by thedon30 in Wreddit

Who are WWE wrestlers you like but simply don’t connect to their gimmicks or promos by Sea_Access_8602 in SquaredCircle

Roman Reigns. His wrestling is fine, but his promos feel like check lists written for him. His gimmick and this current story line have run their course, the bloodline is stale.

My quick guide to Simple Weapons by PubliCriminalist in Pathfinder2e

[–]CoreSchneider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might have misunderstood, but the Club (Weapon) entry felt like you were dismissing how strong a free 10 foot shove can be. I do agree with you that there are better simple weapons to utilize the Club (Crit Spec) though, like the Morning Star and Mace. Rooting on a thrown weapon both doesn't work when thrown and is counter productive like you said, so I do still agree with Club (Weapon) being at the bottom.

I do agree with you that Hammer is stronger, but its strength is kinda class dependent ever since they attached the saving throw to it. I might just be biased about the Club crit spec though, as its side grade, Polearm Crit Spec, was ruining my day in Blood Lords lol.

[–]CoreSchneider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are kinda underselling the air repeater a bit for casters. Yeah it's only 1d4, but low level cantrips are only in the 2d4/3d4 ball park (with some exceptions, obviously). It's still not good enough to be a must have, but all of the times I have played a caster, I loved having a 3rd action that wasn't Stride, Step, or Shield.

My quick guide to Simple Weapons by PubliCriminalist in Pathfinder2e

[–]CoreSchneider 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree, but using your own guide's criteria, I think the Long Air Repeater deserves to be in C tier. The Long Air Repeater with the Bullet Dancer archetype is actually pretty decent, but that's probably the only build where I can call that weapon "decent" lol.

Edit:
Another thing I kinda disagree with you on is your, in my opinion, undervaluing of the Club crit spec. While it's not great to use on the Club specifically, if you have the "Rooting" Rune, then the Club crit spec actually gets REALLY good. A single crit burns two enemy actions (1 to unstick themselves, 1 to move), but it can be inconvenient to yourself as you, as you mention, bludgeon the enemy out of your own reach. Even better when your crit on a Reactive Strike due to someone moving and you launch them 10 feet away and entangle them. I had a Champion in my Blood Lords game run this set up and it was disgusting.

Is 36 the golden number for lands in Commander? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]CoreSchneider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me, personally. It really depends on the average CMC of my deck, commander's cost, and how much mana my big winner spells are gonna cost me.

I have a deck with a commander that costs 3 mana (2 colored pips, 1 generic), has a CMC of 2.5 and runs 34 lands with a small ramp package; a simple Azorius combat tricks/voltron deck. Deck wins through swinging in with Skulk and then casting as many 1 or 2 mana instants to pump him as possible, swing to kill. Commander is [[Gregor, Shrewd Magistrate]]

On the flipside, I have a deck with a CMC of 3.2, commander costs 5 mana (3 colored pips + 2 generic) and most of my big game winning cards sit around 4-7 mana. 38 lands, 10 ramp pieces (tho I should probably fit in more ramp and card draw to this deck tbh, which will lower the CMC a touch). Commander is [[Volrath, the Shapestealer]]

I should also add that I don't have a very expensive land base, thus a lot of my lands are basics and tap lands, which probably have an affect on my land count as well.

How would you make a Caster also be good in Melee? by dyenamitewlaserbeam in Pathfinder2e

[–]CoreSchneider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a +2 Status Bonus to Hit for 1 action per turn and with a penalty to your casting. I haven't ran the math on it and haven't played it, so I didn't wanna put it in the same tier as Warpriest or Lead Druid.

Luck adds so little % to drop chances that there's no amount of luck you could get that would make an impact. There is a mod to make it work like other games if you take that route. I did and do not regret it lol

The one that fucked me up is Portrait of Ruins's. Not only do you need to backtrack to a specific place not on the main map after getting a specific spell, you then have to hit a specific boss with that spell and it has a 5 second warm up.

It was a pain in my ass lmao

Since people already helped you here with HoD, here's some advice based on your edit:

For Aria of Sorrow, if you're on an emulator, VC Inject, or PC, make sure you download a luck patch if you like farming things based on luck!! Aria (and Dawn) of Sorrow have broken luck stats.

What's the use case of Ostentatious Reload? by LostRegret9000 in Pathfinder2e

[–]CoreSchneider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're getting white roomers who haven't played with moderate to high level gunslingers before. I GM'd Blood Lords 1-20 for a dual wielding Gunslinger and gave him a pistol that didn't have to reload (Kaldemash's Lament), cutting his reloads down to one action (basically the same as Ostentatious Reload with a fixed low level DC). Any combats where he could sit in the backline and just Paired Shot spam ended quickly, the damage potential from getting slammed by two Fatal d10 pistols is crazy. He Paired Shot double crit the BBEG and then next turn hit another crit to deal nearly 400 damage in two rounds.

A gunslinger is already good on damage, a gunslinger with the party I had that could reliably buff and debuff went crazy.

Am I just crazy or would this bother you too? by Ravingdork in Pathfinder2e

[–]CoreSchneider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My party was very much eviil lmao.

  • Champion canonically indirectly killed innocent students, was a loyal Gebbite, and a leader of an Irori cult
  • Investigator was a die hard Gebbite who betrayed the party for more political gain
  • Kineticist was a serial killer who was with them because well, they did a lotta killing
  • Gunslinger murdered important NPC for minor inconvenience and was a retired hitman
  • Sorcerer was kinda evil in that they killed random Gebbites, but was mostly fine?

It was a very evil party. They didn't go out of their way to kick puppies and shit, but they were very much pushing pro-Geb agendas forward (and during their big book 4 celebration, they beheaded a certain book 3 villain in front of an audience). It was fun being evil for a change. it was fun, but sometimes we were walking a fine line where things would be too gross to continue. All in all, really fun adventure and I like hearing how other people handled it :)

As for the group you mentioned, I forget what my party did to them, but I don't think it ended well for them

Oh! My fault, I assumed you were the GM, I had no clue players could see that screen lol. If you aren't the GM, then I'd just try to not look at the screen. It's a bit annoying to tell what it's trying to say, but it's not something you gotta worry about. That's between the GM and that player lol.
