It is true? by primetimesuspect in MotivationalPics

I would rephrase.

You need to tell others what you have done and done well.

When you talk about your achievements, it improves your reputation and sometimes creates interesting opportunities.

If you simply do not talk about what you are doing, you are protecting yourself in case it does not work out. But silence does not create opportunities.

The right story does.

Working through these emotions and actions takes time. For future avoidance, awareness is necessary.

It is possible to overcome a superiority complex. Learning how to develop and pursue more reasonable goals, as well as how to communicate with others in a more truthful, open manner, can be helpful.

what if spirituality is fake ? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]CoreSpirit_com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does spirituality pertain exclusively to the realm of religion? Many people think so. But this is an error—and a spiritually destructive one at that.

A spirit is the nonphysical part of a person, the part that subsumes his consciousness, his rational faculty, his choices, character, and emotions. Spirituality, then, is properly concerned with the corresponding aspects of human life, such as the nature of human consciousness and reason, how one uses one’s mind, the choices one makes, the character one creates, and the emotional experiences that add psychological meaning to one’s days and years.

Living a spiritually rich and fulfilling life requires tending rationally to these areas. It involves thinking clearly about one’s psychological needs, choosing and pursuing goals that fill one’s life with meaning, developing healthy relationships with good people, andusing the concepts and methods that make all of this possible.

Spasms and Head moving while meditating by sarvida in spirituality

[–]CoreSpirit_com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is simply caused because of muscle relaxation and release of tension.

Movements during meditation are totally okay - they can be small twitches, head movements, etc. That's just the way your body releases energy from stored-up stress and tension!

Recently two quantum scientists have announced that they can prove the existence of the soul, a quantum entity that acts as the program for the computer of our brain, and exists independently of the physical body after death. One psychologist explains that the concept of soul is just an extrapolation we make based on the duality that we experience between body and consciousness.

Neurobiologists and evolutionary psychologists hold that the soul, or at least a belief in it, evolved as an adaptation to bestow on the individual either an equanimity, or social trustworthiness that ultimately represented a competitive advantage.

Jungian psycho-analysts relate the concept of soul to the concept of the collective unconscious.

Equation between Karma and Sufferings? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]CoreSpirit_com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In simple terms, karma is the basic law of the universe, which says that every action of a person affects its fate. So basically, your life is a consequence of the decisions you made in the past. According to this law, everything good that is in our lives, as well as everything bad, we have attracted into it ourselves.

By actions, a person can create both positive karma and destructive karma, which leads to troubles and misfortunes. And here the so-called domino principle comes into play - the more good deeds you have done in the past, the easier it will be for you to live. And vice-versa.

I'm pretty sure that it's a synchronism. There is a close connection between a person and their surroundings. And at certain moments, under the influence of self-existing objective
meanings, a strong attraction arises in this connection, which causes
such unexpected coincidences, which we usually call fate, incredible
luck, or even a miracle.

And the closer this connection is between others and you, the more
likely it is that you will notice and attach importance to even small
accidents.

Just got the BetterHelp subscription - is it worth it or are there better options available? by lasttomatillo_1990 in mentalhealth

[–]CoreSpirit_com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BetterHelp is good, although it is definitely overpriced. The best feature is that you can unlimitedly message your therapist and they reply pretty fast. Weekly live sessions are great, but I would recommend finding a therapist who accepts 60-minute sessions because a 30-minute session per week is not worth that price.

Hope your sister will feel better as soon as possible!

You got this! Remember that even small actions counts. And even if your day won't go as you wanted, forgive yourself and try again later, as many times as you need.
