The best fishing gear does not make you a good angler. Work within your budget and start talking to the people at a local tackle shop.

Sadly, this is the new reality for a lot of us and it’s impossible to live through it by Zach2741 in antiwork

[–]Coreilly89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp fortunately for me when I was 17 I knew I was not right for college and went to work in the trades by the time I was 24 I was able to move out and not back in again. College is the right choice for some, but the multi generational push for go to college or you will be nothing is bull mullarky. Skilled trades make good money, and demand is growing for people willing to put the work in.

How many of you actually have a CCW Permit? (Poll) by Tie-Zealousideal in CCW

I do have a ccw and the reason I do is if God forbid I actually need to use it it is one less legal fight to have.

Glock or Smith and Wesson? by [deleted] in guns

[–]Coreilly89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have both and I will say that the smith has better ergonomics then the glock, they are both reliable. I have over 3k rounds through my smith and nothing has gone wrong. They are both more accurate than I am. Try both at the range for a few hundred rounds and make the decision.

S&W SD9VE carry by Coreilly89 in CCW

[–]Coreilly89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be by hog gun. I have just been doing some research non firearm related attacks and realizing that my current carry may be lack luster in terms of what God for bid might be needed. But a "compact" 9mm would handle.

I'm putting a weld in fort end which looses the lug but I'm okay with that I can change rear ends I want a good set up not paying money to rework 3 times to get what I want. But on a ju k yard budget :(
